Danish Nosh Bakery Cafe
Serving the local community since 1993, Danish Nosh Bakery Cafe began as an artisan bakery creating traditional Eastern European and Middle Eastern-style homemade pastries, cakes and baked goods. In 2018, the current operator and chef Yaniv saw an exciting opportunity to takeover, revitalise and expand this iconic business.

Today, Danish Nosh includes a bustling cafe and bagelry and offers delicious fare of NY-style deli foods and European and Middle Eastern-inspired dishes that are designed to evoke nostalgic memories. Everything that comes out of the bakery and kitchen is meticulously and lovingly made from scratch and by hand, using the freshest and highest quality ingredients.

My favourite bakery in all of Melbourne! Babkas and pastries always top quality, I know that I can always count on Danish Nosh to make food that is filled with love! 💞 Dips and salads always a great addition to any meal, cooked authentically and with the best ingredients!

I ordered a Black Forest cake 🍰 it was excellent, light moist and delicious. Great friendly service, terrific quality attention to detail and right price. Highly recommended.

I had been eyeing up the picnic boxes on IG for a few weeks so was pleased that Danish Nosh was now in my expanded bubble. Ordered one for Grand Final weekend it didn’t disappoint. Had bagels, quiche, savoury pastries, croissants, cheese, pickles, salad and then there were the sweet treats. Packaged nicely too.
I also couldn’t resist the chocolate baklava.

Stumbled across the little gem on Glen Huntley Rd today. Friendly service. Amazing pastries and bread. Loved the croissants, pretzels and chocolate bagels. Will definitely go back again soon!

I just want to thank the team at Danish Nosh for how incredibly well they handled my hamper order. I messed up not including my girlfriend’s nut allergy, having to order an extra set for extra participants and not including a chocolate placard.
All of this happened over the weekend and I was so happy that everything was made easy for me. They took initiative and changed what was in there with nuts, made the extra and kept me informed the whole time.
Best thing of all is that it was DELICIOUS!!! So fresh and tasty and it looked a million bucks.
Thanks again

Such a great place to discover! Had a latkes with smoked salmon, shakshuka that comes with bagel and coffees. Coffees are fine, food is very nice although I like my shakshuka more flavouring and spicy. Large portions are very satisfying. Price is great too. Latkes were yummmm. Super nice Jewish ashkenazi stile cousin!

DO: The bagels and eggplant shashuka with side of Harissa for that chilli hit.
DON'T: Leave without the NYC babka. Always reminds me of that Seinfeld episode.
TIP: A great little place with delicious food and equally amazing coffee. Service is A+

What a perfect place for coffee and brunch. An alluring restaurant in a quiet neighbourhood. The restaurant is separated into two sides, one with the counter and display of all fresh pastries and cakes, and the other, just sit down tables for eat-in customers. I had a full breakfast brunch here. The meal was good but the fresh and buttery smell of the pastries kept distracting me. I wish I didn't have the full breakfast so I could take away some of the pastries. A man, I believe the owner or the main chef kept coming out of the kitchen to greet and chat with the customers. Twice he asked my partner

We've been to this cafe twice in 2 weeks because our kids just love it!

The standout items have been their bagels, generously filled with slow-cooked brisket, pastrami, smoked salmon, and more! If my cholesterol-levels would allow it, I'd have the chopped liver every time :)

Our kids love their meat pies with tomatoey minced beef and tasty chicken sausage rolls. And the kids schnitzel and chips is a steal for a huge serve at just AU$8.

There are cute cookies for kids, and seriously yummy biscuits for adults. Don't go past their chocolate babka or poppyseed Danishes. You won&apos

Came for a 1pm lunch with my parents.
Poached eggs on a potatoes latke ( like a hash brown) with smoked salmon and spinach and a bagel with egg and avo.
Tasty and well made. Friendly service by the owners and staff made the experience a good one.
I have been a client of Danish nosh for a long long time ( previous owners were friends), and still pop in for take away but now that a cafe is operating with decent prices for the food offered you have a choice in Caulfield worth going to. I shall be back and wish the new owners much success. @foodbloggerdownunder
