At Thread Cafe, we're serving up the best coffee in Malvern, and we're very proud of it. We offer a comfortable space to meet up with friends over a tasty cup of joe, grab a quick bite to eat or enjoy a long brunch. You'll find us on the corner of Malvern Road and Parslow Street, just a stone's throw from Tooronga Station.

Although coffee is our biggest passion, great food is a close second. On our menu you'll find everything from our famous Mexican crunchy eggs and big breakfasts to healthy salads and amazing sandwiches. Of course, you'll have to wash it all down with a cup of coffee, made from our freshly roasted house blend.

I can't speak highly enough of this cafe. My local everyday coffee fix. Winnie and Joe work so hard to make the perfect coffee and are very customer focused. There were two things I liked about this place, and that was the coffee and the service. Actually, come to think of it, those are probably the two things that really matter, the service and the coffee. This was basically a coffee shop that I discovered as I was going on a bit of a wander, and as such decided to pop in here for a drink. Well, it turned out to be nothing short of fantastic, though it was rather quiet when I was here. Then again that is probably a good thing, especially these days. I'd definitely consider coming back.

Since moving to Malvern, I've been on a mission to tackle my local high street and the various food offerings. I always thought that there was a lack of people along this strip. But I found them all here at Thread. This place was pumping at 10.30 odd AM on a Saturday. Almost standing room only.

The menu is pretty much what you'd expect. A range of smashed avocado, eggs and bacon. I got the egyptian eggs and was a little underwhelmed when the eggs came out with half an avocado and a big wedge of feta and two short pieces of bacon. Was kind of expecting it smashed together at least
