Food was disgusting. Had a voucher from the bottle shop they own for buy 2 for one. Still wasn't a good deal. My partner who's lived on the Northern beaches for 20 years confirmed the disastrous food they sell.
Executive chef? Ok. Overpriced beers and disgustingly overcooked food. McDonalds has better food.

I think the fact that so many people walk in at same time, the kitchen gets so busy. We waited an hour for the lamb salad & a burger.
So many meals go back to the kitchen because the poor staff cannot find the tables with the number. Maybe a different system needs to be thought of?
Maybe an estimated time for meals also..we missed a movie because we waited so long.
Food was really great though so don't want to give it a low rating.

Superb experience,
My friend told me to come here for dinner and wow, I’m surprised by the quality of food and the service of the staff here.
Stunning food and well priced, tastes superb and I loved the mashed potatoes.
Would definitely come back again, it’s worth the track for me to get here from the city 🤩

Terrible Managers. Would not recommend, are very dry and rude. Food is great however would not recommend if you are looking for good customer service. Managers will kick you out for any reason they find.

A disgrace!!!!
A shame!!!
I went with my friend on Thursday 25th November for dinner, checked in, showed proof of double vaccination, and mask exemption medical certificate as I’ve got some serious health issues.
The person at the door was really lovely and let us in.
I went to the bar to order a drink and the blonde lady ask for my exemption again,(weird!), but ok, I’ll showed it to her with my driver license as well.
From there, she told me it’s not acceptable as it’s a not on my Medicare, she called the bouncer to get us kicked out screaming “get out

Stopped by this venue for lunch today. Venue wasn’t busy at all. Ordered two Burgers, the Master Pork Burger and the Korean Fried Chicken Burger both with a side of chips. Chips were cold when the meals arrived, both burgers had far too much coriander on them, and the piece of chicken on the Korean Fried Chicken Burger was RAW all the way through. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Won’t be returning or recommending this venue.
Will note that both the young girl and guy who I took the raw burger back to were very apologetic and offered a refund for the burger straight away, however the

I just had my birthday at Dee Why Hotel last night. Highly disappointed.
The food was less than average and portion sizes were tiny (see attached photo) My salad was a joke! I needed a microscope to see it.
What made it worse, over 4 hours our group of 7 ordered 4 rounds. We then had two shots within the next hour… To our surprise our table was cut off. Really!!!
Being a mature group, it wasn’t worth arguing and we left. No loss, by 10pm the place was dead anyway.
Sorry Dee Why Hotel, there are too many quality places to waste our time on you again.

This place looks like it is the front bar of a fancy hotel, but then again it probably has a lot more to do with developers, and also it being located near the beach. It was a bit flashy for my tastes - I'm not a big fan of classy establishments, but it still seemed to have a bit of a decent atmosphere about it, and also a reasonable selection of beers available on tap. Okay, while it wouldn't be one that I would actively return to (for obvious reasons), it was still quite nice.

A bit nicer than the standard Aussie neighborhood pub, the food exceeded expectations as did the interior vibe. Stopped by for lunch after the beach, while they have standard burgers and fish n chips, there are also some alternatives with a good spin. The mouthwatering harissa lamb salad that comes stacked 3-4 layers high with warm and tender lamb or the half roast chicken.

It can be quite good value depending on what day you go. The 15 dollar mains Tuesday special is good as are the 2 for 1 vouchers you can get for bayfields.
The place is very big and while I think it helps to keep the noise down it also sucks a bit of the atmosphere. It is a good place for families.
I have been quite a few times and the meals are hit and miss. The pizzas are generally good particularly the chilli prawn pizza as are the steaks and we get the Mac and cheese balls every time.
I think the tacos could do with some improvements they are a bit dry and the jalapeño poppers batter was

Home of the famous “Trufflenator Burger”, we trekked out here for a lunch once.
I was pleasantly surprised at how big, spacious and nicely decorated this pub was!
There were nice lounges and big armchairs near the big fire place as well as plenty of little areas for a more private dining session. Dark and smouldering is what this place was!
The food was amazing and that burger and the cheese fries is worth a heart attack! We shared it as we had a big dinner event lined up so it left us wanting more.
Would definitely recommend this place and the burger!

Omg. Finally made it up to try the famous trufflenator from Chef Brad and it did not dissapoint! Truffle infused everything with bacon and crunchy onion rings on beautifully cooked wagyu patties. This is up there easily with sydneys best! Wish you were closer mate.

Came for the Zeus Burger, and sweet mother mary it did not disappoint. It's the burger equivalent of Elvis in his fat and sweaty phase and also he's Greek and his mother is yelling at him to do the washing up but he tells her to be shut up because he's playing X-Box and eating kebabs.

It's got a double wagyu patty and shaved kebab meat and hummous and chilli sauce and cheddar and quinoa tabouli and fries on the burger and it's giant two-hander, a real face messer-upper, you'll have rich juice all down your collar if you're not quick with a napkin. Also got a

One word. Burger! We popped into Dee Why Hotel based on a FaceBook group we belong to. We had the Trufflenator burger with pecorino fries. Freaking amazing. Go on friday for $10 cocktails too (although a beer properly washes down this delicious meal).

Short review, I know But there isn't much to say... Go Eat This!

Following a massive refurb a year or so ago this place is a shiny, modern cavern to drinking and eating.

It's big, and has a range of seats, from benches, to fireplace-facing sofas, and partly-hidden rooms.

It's very dark. Ceilings are high, furnishings are ornate, but windows are small and few. It felt nightclub-dark even at mid-day. Air conditioning was MUCH too cold.

The menu looks good. I wasn't too hungry and ordered the chicken wings. Good thing I wasn't famished either, because they were fairly few and skinny. Tasty enough though.

The beer list is top-notch, though

Love the food, would like more gluten free choices and for this I only gave four stars. If you don't have gluten issues the choices are fantastic as is the food.
