Really quite amazing place for lunch or dinner! The food is average but very pricy for just a burger and fries. Its hit and miss with the staff, some are amazing, whereas, some others are extremely unfriendly and unapproachable.

The worst pub meal I have had in 10 years. I am not sure if this is the usual standard or COVID has left little choice in cooks, (definitely not chefs), we were a table of 7 and ordered 5 different meals, not one was satisfactory. I had the fish and chips, I am not sure what was in the extremely thick batter but I am sure it was not fresh fish. Never will I return.

This place is great for the crowds of semi hipster surfers and the chicks who all look like Kim K or the same white chick from what I can only imagine is a basic style of reality TV. However, the food was good and it's a nice space. Just really loud and probably not my comfort crowd. But I imagine a lot of people love it. It's just about what you're style is

Lovely setting. Food good albeit a bit pricey.
Service intermediate apart from Adam who was superhelpful, attentive and friendly unlike some who couldn't be bothered. I guess it's the luck of who serves the table but we done to Adam who made our experience a good one and earns the extra star.

I tried to order about 3 meals before I had to order this as there was nothing left on the menu at 1.30pm on a Tuesday! No seafood, no chicken dishes! This cheese looks like it has been sitting in the sun. The zucchini and calamari fritters came without the zucchini and the batter was thick and doughy. Catching a train and ferry to get here on a nice summers day was not worth it at all. I won’t be eating here again. The drinks were good but that’s about it. Such an overrated place. I definitely wouldn’t describe this place as ‘boutique’

This is a shout out for the kids. Had the kids serve fish and chips along with my Grandson. Very dissapointing, was expecting better than this token effort, from this great venue. Chips weren't cooked batch fresh, they had been kept warm, the fish was so so, but at least it was cooked fresh. Do the kids get a different level of quality and service? Sorry, but has to be said, because you'll "get away with it", and It's not that cheap at $12 a serve. Kids count too! The counter staff were excellent, very helpful and engaged.

Terrible service. Tables full of dirty dishes that no one cleans unless you ask. 8 cocktails available on carafe but when you ask for any of them they said they only knew how to make one of them, which took them 20 min to make. They gave us no glasses either, just the jug. Then we got the very overpriced and no so good food. There was no cutlery or napkins on the table either. Extremely dissatisfied. Used to be a good place to eat. Not anymore.

We asked your barman if the fish burger came with fries, he said no so we ordered a plate of fries. But as you can see by the photo the burger came with fries, so that was $10 wasted since way too many fries for us. Train your staff not to lie please. The fish burger was also McDonald's quality, not what you would expect for $24. Such lovely location let down by quality of food and service.

Had a great experience here, despite the fact that it was packed to the brim with other people desperate for some sun! Bar and food service was quite quick even at peak times. The food was delicious and hot, and the service line moved very efficiently (you have to order and collect your food at different areas). The tables were certainly packed in, which made it hard to navigate at times.
The cocktails were pretty reasonably priced for Sydney and the portions are generous. The pink gin iced tea is a must.
Will definitely be back soon!

Views from verandah of Hotel are spectacular, straight down Sydney Harbour.
Fish and Chips are delicious and reasonably priced. A bit slow with the drinks order but they were a bit busy.
Best way to get here is by ferry from Circular Quay.
Always good to make a booking to ensure you get a table. Would thoroughly recommend the Hotel for lunch
