We had a lovely stay at City Edge Apartments in Dandenong. The room was clean and fresh and spacious. Everything you needed for your stay was provided and the towels were the fluffiest I have ever used! Great location and room was lovely but most of all the reception staff very extremely helpful, stored all our bags on the day we arrived and the day we left so we could explore Melbourne with lugging them around.
Very helpful with advice and also booking us a taxi to get back to the airport. If you value your safety, avoid this hotel. It has been filled with homeless people. There was a covid outbreak here recently and the health department set up a testing command centre outside, like they do at housing commission blocks. Common areas and surrounding streets are filthy and there are always shopping trolleys dumped at the entrance. There are always guests harassing you for money and police are regularly in attendance too, as crime, theft and fights are common here.

I'm sure this once was a nice, lovely and respectable place to stay - however due to the government homelessness choosing this as one of their places to accommodate people... it feels scary to stay here, strict to get inside and you feel attacked or instantly taunted or terrorised by being asked for your name and room number immediately as you step anywhere near reception. There are constant arguments, loud noises from above, below and next to your room. No housekeeping. Nothing that shows much effort, if any, has gone in to preparing the room for the next guest when you check in. Which should

Booked the hotel through Agoda. Only a 1 night stay as I had a wedding to attend in the city.
Firstly, communication was great. Had enquired the day before check in whether or not parking was available. Had a response within a few hours. Parking is $15 and is located underneath the hotel. Called on arrival, they opened the gate & charged on check-in. Had dealt with Ronnie via email, phone & she even checked me in. Very friendly & very helpful.
Check in was nice & quick. Room key controls all electrical in room so may be best to get 2 keys. Was a very hot day and walked into a very hot room, but

Brand new establishment, we were one of the first guests. The rooms are well appointed, tastefully furnished and clean. The staff were amazing! As we some of the first guests, our stay was a little early and we didn’t have free to air channels on the television. We were given a complimentary bottle of champagne by the manager for the inconvenience. But the television had all streaming services available so we were fully entertained anyway. Great job everyone! Also, there’s an excellent Chinese restaurant across the road sells amazing dumplings.

Absolutely sensational! If you want a 5-star luxury apartment/hotel stay without having to break the bank, this is the place to be! Excellent location, the whole place is clean and spotless, staffs are friendly, there is a great gym located at the basement. Feels more like a 5-star hotel more than anything.

Extremely Disappointed and crusher that they disallow family to be with over new years Eve. Everyear the family tradition is the celebrate the energy shift and 5 th dimentional force . I would have paid more but just because payment is by an organisation for 14 nights. we are just see through souls. Spending just one night makes a big difference. My family member stopped me from doing the worst. He supported me when I most needed him. And now we are separated by motel policies. Really disappointed.. what's One night in a room for 2 people to say goodbye to 2020 😥

The staff’s attention to detail with some of the best I have seen. I have stayed in a lot of oh hotels for four but have never met staff so accommodating and eager to assist in making my stay worth the 5/5.
The quality of the rooms is second to none with extremely well finished and modern bathrooms that make you don’t want to leave.
The location is what sets this hotel a part located in a sleepy pocket of South Melbourne that gives you peace and privacy But is also close to the action e.g. crown and South Melbourne market.
