Fantastic service, I hired an electric bike to try for a week before buying. They recommended the perfect bike for me which I love. The hire price was removed from the purchase fee too. They provided a new battery on warranty when mine had a fault, they are always available at any time to troubleshoot over the phone, serviced my (very heavily used) bike quickly and it feels brand new. I cannot recommend Velo Electric more highly, definitely the best place to buy an ebike in Melbourne!!

Having recently moved to Melbourne and now living in and commuting from the inner city I was in the market to purchase a fold-able mountain bike but could have potentially be sold on purchasing one of the smaller commuter bikes. I am a newbie to bikes in general and don't really know what is and isn't a good purchase, I would have liked to get a chance to see whats on the market and would have appreciated some kind of introduction as to what I could have purchased with the budget I had. I have just completed the Great Victorian Bike Ride on a “Kalkoff Endeavour 1B More” electric bike. A friend and I hired these bikes for 11 days. The bikes was terrific to ride and with careful use of the battery, and lasted for the very long kilometers, 65 - 95+ each day on the ride.
I live in Perth and my initial enquiries and booking with Jimmy from Velo Electric went really smoothly and well, with Jimmy knowledgeably and patiently dealing with all my questions.
