Cargocycles is a family-owned and operated business specialising in cargo bikes and electric bicycles (and electric cargo bikes!) located in Brunswick East, Melbourne. Not only do we have one of the largest specialist cargo and electric bike showrooms in the world, we also have a huge warehouse right here that holds all the bikes we can't fit on the floor.
A cargo bike is designed to carry kids or cargo, or both. Already popular in bike-friendly cities like Copenhagen or Amsterdam, cargo bikes are becoming more popular in Melbourne and are great for commuting, especially if you need to carry lots of stuff. Whether that's two kids, a laptop and a bunch of heavy textbooks, a load of groceries or a dog, there comes a time when even the best quality panniers on a standard bike just can't carry enough.
Babboe's bike range is an excellent value Dutch cargo bike brand. Like many other parents in Holland, the founders of Babboe were looking for a comfortable, safe and affordable cargo bike. None of the existing cargo bikes fitted their expectations and that is why they decided to develop their own top quality cargo bike.
Bicicapace (pronounced Beechee caparchay) is an Italian bicycle brand that offers a range of load-carrying bicycles that are compact and stylish. The frames are steel which is tough and durable for everyday use. With simple lines and a range of dedicated accessories, we are sure there is a Bicicapace for you and your family.
Etility Design is at the heart of every Benno e-bike. It's what makes them different. A typical e-bike offers a nice ride, but not much utility. A cargo e-bike carries heavy loads but can be difficult to handle. Benno believes what people really need is an everyday e-bike that offers the best of both worlds.

Cargo cycles is a brilliant business. They're not the cheapest place to buy because they don't cut corners and they only sell quality bikes. And the service and follow up is absolutely top notch too. Their staff really know the bikes and give highly practical advice on purchases to suit you and your family, and you can hire them to try them out. They're great on servicing, never over charge and will make minor fixes for free. I'd highly recommend Cargo Cycles if you are thinking about a cargo bike.

I purchased my first ever e bike from cargocycles a few months ago. I was very happy with the service. The guys in the shop were very helpful to me as a newbie and gave me all the information I needed. I was given the opportunity to test ride quite a few bikes. Overall, it was a fantastic shop experience and I would highly recommend anybody wanting a new bike to go to cargocycles! Thank you for your help! I'm still loving my new bike!

Danny was fantastic in helping me find a trike to buy. He was very knowledgeable and is a great asset to the shop. I purchased the ezzee carro electric tricycle and it has been nothing but fabulous. I came in wanting to test drive and choose a cargo bike. The man serving was flippant and wasn't keen to serve me. A couple came in before me, so I waited a while (which was fine) after they paid, left with their new purchase, then the salesman moaned about how long the couple took to decide on their new $5K purchase. Rude, keep it to yourself, and perhaps get a job that you enjoy.
