Services
Camberwell Junction Early Learning Centre is a privately-owned purpose built childcare centre caring for up to 60 children each day. We have three separate rooms: Ladybird Room (Nursery), Caterpillar Room (Toddlers) and Butterfly Room (Kinder) where the children have small personal groups and are looked after by qualified and dedicated educators.
Our Nursery provides your child with individual care in a home like environment. We work closely with you to set a suitable routine for your baby within the childcare setting. The program concentrates on their milestones while considering their individual interests and strengths (in fine and gross motor, language and sensory development).
The centre provides extra curricular activities on a weekly basis. These programs are planned and presented by qualified external educators, and are delivered in accordance with the Early Years Learning and Developmental Framework. All sessions are run in your child's room and are incorporated into your child's learning journey from birth to kinder.
Early learning education and development ensures your child gets a head start in learning. The Camberwell Junction Early Learning Centre offers two education programs: the Early Learning and Kinder Programs. These programs follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) for Australia, developed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) in consultation with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA).
At Camberwell Junction Early Learning Centre, we believe that good nutrition is essential to a child's development. This is why we provide them with fresh food every day. Kids Gourmet Foods deliver daily, healthy and nutritionally balanced gourmet style meals that cater to all of your child's food requirements.

My son started going to CJELC when he was 5 months old . I was abit nervous at start but when I met the team all my concerns were gone . The team is amazing and so caring. Everyday he learns something there and amazes me . The girls in ladybird room ( poonam, swati, teju) are another level caring and take extra steps and report how his day was . They are so patient answering any concerns we have . Being a casual worker they let my son in even for days he is not booked in . Such an understanding team . Hats off to all the hard work you for taking care of our children . Can't thank you guys enough

This is the first child care my daughter started attending from Sept 2021. She took time to settle in and the staff was always positive about it. They took efforts to make her comfortable. We loved the way educators in Baby room looked after Khushi and helped us with our extra requests. I will definitely recommend this child care based on their serveice. A big thank you to all the educators for looking after Khushi. :)

Both our kids went to CJELC and my daughter started when she was 8 months old until she finished kinder. Yesterday was her last day there(we moved suburbs) and she will be going prep next year. She had wonderful care there and Barnali, kinder teacher is a gem. Kinder teacher Christy is wonderful with kids. I recommend this childcare with all my heart and your kid will be safe and sound.

A boy at childcare hit our three-year-old son frequently. The supervision wasn't good enough to prevent this from happening. Furthermore, to our disappointment, the management didn't report most of the incidents! At first, we weren't sure why our son was always upset, crying hard every time we dropped him off at childcare. We thought it was separation anxiety or something. When we found he was traumatised by this boy with little support from the educators, we moved him at once to different childcare. Our child has attended this centre for the last 3 years and we have been extremely happy with the high level of care at the centre. He is currently in the kinder program and can’t wait to get to the centre each morning to see his friends and the educators. The high level of supervision, excellent educators and the diverse programmes are all so professional. The centre always communicates with us on a daily basis via the kindy hub app and timely newsletters. My children have attended for nearly 4 years and have learned and grown so much from their experiences at CJELC. There are daily activities from Yoga, sports, Mandarin classes and music that my children love. The educators are amazing and we feel like they are family now. I know they really love and care about my children and it is not a job for them. Linda has been friendly, caring and accomodating with last minute day additions. She has thoroughly explained al the CCS stuff which is a huge help because it is confusing! Thanks for all you do!

I have been lucky enough to have my daughter here full time mostly since she was 8 months old .
Since day one, Linda and the team have been friendly welcoming and have genuinely loved my child. She wants to give them all cuddles after she has been away from the educators after a holiday. The facilities are exactly what children need and there is always a abundance of activities that keep my daughter fully engaged.
I also love how multiple cultures are celebrated through the year i.e. Chinese New Year, Diwali etc
From an admin perspective, Linda is also very switched on and supports you in understanding
