Services
Sporteka was created in 2002 by Fatima Tawfek, a community development professional, youth counsellor, Tennis Australia and FFV qualified coach and a mother who has supported her own children's sporting careers to championship levels. Sporteka aims to build character through sport and address obesity and self esteem issues facing children today.
Ensure all children are taught the fundamentals of sport by experienced and qualified staff. Maintain a small student to coach ratio of 6 per coach (4 per coach-Tennis program) to maximise learning and achievements. Create a happy and friendly sporting environment to inspire all children towards a healthy and active lifestyle.
Sporteka is a family run small business focused on quality teaching, skill development and personal attention to the needs of every child enrolled into the program. Fatima, Sporteka Director, is involved in every aspect of Sporteka from coaching and program development to follow up of children's progress and identification of future sporting pathways for the children during and beyond sporteka.
At Sporteka children develop Agility, Balance, Coordination, Flexibility, Stability, Speed, team work and sports skills as well as an early sense of personal achievement. Furthermore, they are assisted to develop patience and resilience, accept differences and limitations, explore capabilities, take turns, share, respect opponents and never give up.
Sporteka programs are carefully designed to help preschool children develop fundamental motor and eye-hand coordination skills within a caring and supportive environment. There is a strong focus on supporting children's social and emotional well-being and being part of a group, and staff are encouraging.

My son attended Sporteka's multi-sport when he was younger and now is in Sporteka’s tennis class. Sporteka has great coaches, very good with kids… patient and looks after kids’ emotions through out their lessons. Highly recommended to any parent who just want to let their kids to have a taste of variety of sports through its fun and structure multi-sports program, or just tennis!!
