In the spirit of reconciliation Deep Creek Preschool acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
At Deep Creek Preschool we understand the early years of development is a special time in a child's life; it is essential this time is supported by positive behaviours and role modelling, happiness, and care. At Deep Creek Preschool, our highly trained and dedicated team of educators, in collaboration with our families and the Manningham community, are all committed to providing an engaging play-based program.
Prior to joining the teaching team, my two sons attended the three and four-year-old program at the Preschool where I was also part of the Executive Committee of Management. I was Secretary for one year and then President for three years. I enjoyed four great years at Deep Creek Preschool as a parent and made some wonderful and lifelong friends.
Play is very important for children. Through play young children explore and learn to understand the world around them. They come to communicate, discover, imagine and create. When children play they are showing what they have learned and what they are trying to understand. This is why play is one of the foundations of the Early Years Learning Framework.
The 4-year-old program runs for 15 hours per week over 3 days (with the option to join a 2.5 hours Activity Group on Mondays **). The change in timetable has enabled an additional 2.5 hours of Activity Group to be available on Mondays for children attending the 4-year-old program. The additional 2.5 hours is not part of the 15 hours funded kindergarten program.

Deep Creek is a fantastic preschool. I had a great feeling about the preschool when I attended a school tour last year and talked to the teachers. My child started this year and has experienced many different activities (indoor, outdoor, cooking, arts & craft etc). Even during Covid-19 isolation the teachers organised take home packs for the children and regularly engaged with the families through groups and individual video calls. I would highly recommend this preschool

My family have had a strong connection to this beautiful kindergarten for many years. The staff all have such a wide depth of early childhood experience, and are all so immensely passionate about early childhood education and development. My children have wonderful kindergarten memories because of Deep Creek Preschool, including making some lovely friendships. We couldn’t be happier with our time at Deep Creek.

Our son has absolutely thrived at Deep Creek Preschool. He loves the environment and his teachers. The teachers are so warm and welcoming and the community as a whole is amazing to be apart of. We have thoroughly enjoyed amour time at Deep Creek Preschool and could not recommend it enough for other families. We will definitely be sending our other child.

Deep Creek Pre School is a fantastic kindergarten. We've been part of the Deep Creek family for years and simply love the clean and safe learning environment it provides to our kids. My children always love attending sessions and are so happy there they don't want to leave. I would highly recommend Deep Creek to anyone .

I was recommended the Preschool by the Maternal Health Nurse next door and family who had their children attend in the past.
My children have attended the school for the past 3 years. A warm and friendly environment with a great community feel. The teachers have been wonderful and very supportive. I like the fact the preschool has 2 large outdoor areas to give kids variety of activities.
There is an added bonus that the Pines Shopping Centre is next door, handy for shopping whilst the kids are at the Preschool.

Our experience with Deepcreek Preschool has been wonderful.
I am very thankful to Bron,Dianna and Trudy for doing an excellent work even in the midst of the current Pandemic situation.
The Educators have proactively reached to us multiple times when we couldn't send our son for face to face classes and provided us with valuable guidance during these hard times.
We really appreciate the way you dealt with the current situation and switched to various ways of online learning for the kids at home..

The school has a fun and rustic feel, which my daughter seems to love. We chose the school for its minimal technology reliance, instead they focus on learning from play, story and self discovery. Out of all the kindergarten we visited, this one seemed to have the most dedicated and experienced staff. The 3YO teachers are bilingual which made transitioning to the school much smoother for my family.

I love this preschool/kinder. It was recommended by a friend who was a president of another preschool committee. She said her teachers said it was the place that they would send their kids to if they were in my area. They really are amazing, young and dynamic, very caring...they truly connect individually with the kids. I also like the fact that its a focused facility, kinder only, no childcare (this was recommended by my maternal nurse, makes sense to me). The other main reason I chose it was convenience, its right next to the Pines so I can do the "hopping" we moms do really easily...drop off
