Services
Gum Nut Gully Pre-School welcomes children from the Doncaster, Donvale, Park Orchards, Templestowe, Warrandyte and other areas to our leading kindergarten. Gum Nut Gully believes in providing the children with a calm, physically safe and emotionally secure environment that will enable children to have a growing appreciation for learning that is forever lasting.
Gum Nut Gully Pre-School launched a Bush Kinder program in 2019 for the 4 year old groups. Our Bush Kinder groups will gather in the Mullum Mullum Trail parklands, the traditional land of the Wurundjeri People. For each group, one day per week during terms 1 and 2, sessions will begin out in the parklands and children will enjoy morning exploration completely outdoors.
When the time came to choose a kinder for my son, I took him with me on numerous visits to different preschools, and Gum Nut Gully was his favourite by far, mainly because of the fabulous outdoor play area! He started 3yo kinder in early 2016 without any tears and has loved every minute of his kinder experience since then.
Gum Nut Gully Pre-School has a fantastic outdoor playground and garden which provides multiple play experiences - climbing frames, large sandpit, swings and slide, bike track, stage for children to perform, cubby house and fairy garden, chalkboards and large shade sails that ensures shaded play areas for the children.
Gum Nut Gully Pre-School could not operate without the support of our kinder families and community. Our kinder families have been very generous with their time and skills - we all want to see this kinder grow and nurture our children through good facilities and quality education.
We have been blessed with generous donations from friends of our kinder community which allow us to provide so many wonderful activities and enrich the experiences of our children during such a precious time in their early learning years.There are various events during the year that bring the kindergarten families together including a welcome picnic, movie night, disco and even working bees.
