Welcome to The Base Self Defence and Martial Arts Academy. We are a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy located in Blackburn North, Victoria. We are an affiliate gym of Axis Jiu Jitsu Academy Australia, and under the tutelage of Head Coach Professor Jason Roebig. Professor Roebig is a Blackbelt under Kron Gracie and Taka Watanabe and the official representative of Rickson Gracie in Australia.
At The Base Self Defence and Martial Arts Academy, our welcoming, supportive, learning environment is key to training. You are joining a community, this will become your second home. Doesn't matter what the goal, Jiu Jitsu, boxing, fitness, weight loss, you will have the support from your team mates and the coaches.
