The Hungry Grasshopper is a small, intimate caf in Haberfield. Just a short stroll from Ramsay Road and the famous Bay run, we are situated on Waratah street with plentiful car spaces. We try not to take to many things serious but when it comes to our coffee and tea we strive for the highest standard and use Allpress and T2.
Take your time browsing our menu; our approach is to provide home grown and locally sourced produce. Our menu is simple and seasonal with a tasty all-day breakfast and lunch menu along with some mouth watering specials. Our deserts come from Luxe along with some home made treats.

Consistently excellent for breakfast or lunch, you need to check out Hungry Grasshopper Café if you haven't already.
Conveniently located, and with plenty of parking and seating, you'll have no issues getting there or getting seated. Then, service is prompt and friendly, and there's plenty of different options on the menu as they've got an all-day breakfast, good lunch options, and even a solid kids menu.
I've never gotten a bad coffee, whether its short or long, with or without milk. Although plenty of cafes might get it right, these guys always do.

Convenient location expensive limited toast types, wanting wholemeal not white & seeded breads & Turkish. Seemed to be a bit of a language barrier with a few customers. May need a sign above the menus out side all lilac bit hard to see. You have taken my comment in the wrong direction I said nothing about staff to require a diversity comment. What I am saying is a language barrier exist when I heard other customers having the same problem I had. The language barrier was that 2 staff members did not get the conversation. This can happen no big deal but more & more means frustration crept in & a
