Pronunciation and talking is the ability to physically move the tongue, lips, palate etc to produce sequences of speech sounds that make up words and sentences which are clear and can be understood by others. Expressive Language is the use of words, sentences and writing to convey meaning and messages to others.
As a mother of young children myself, I love watching them grow, find themselves and develop their unique personalities. I pride myself on gaining a rapport with all the children I work with (from preschool right through to secondary school) to help them develop a facet of skills to assist in their life journey.
At Tanya Boyd Speech Pathology we undertake a comprehensive assessment of your child's communication skills. Pragmatic language (how your child uses language in a social context to interact with others). Literacy and phonological skills (the developmental of reading, writing and spelling skills).

There are a number of recent government initiatives that enable families with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders to access funding for assessment and therapy. To access services from Tanya Boyd Speech Pathology services, you will need to ensure that your NDIS funding is either PLAN MANAGED or SELF MANAGED for speech therapy services.

My son was assessed and diagnosed with language problems. He has had a few sessions here. Already I can see the improvement which has given him the
confidence to actually do his school work. The team are professional and very easy to talk to. I also find that the price is reasonable. I am very happy with all aspects of this service and would definately recomend them.

Even though my son is usually disruptive, and cant concentrate for a long period, I am so appreciative of my son having Tanya Boyd as his Speech Pathologist. No only is my son now trying to say and pronounce words and its trial and error on days where he can or can't do the words, he is willing to try sight and sound recognition will get there with the 100% helpful Dedication of Tanya. Thank you so much
