Paramoor Winery was established in 2005 by Will Fraser, and is one of the most popular and awarded wineries in the Macedon Ranges. A boutique operation, Paramoor Winery is not about mass production. Quality always comes before quantity - and there is quality in everything the winery does. From the meticulous selection of grapes for Paramoor's wine to the personalised service at the cellar door; every detail is considered.

Paramoor Winery's cellar door tasting and sales area, converted from old stables, draws a crowd as much for its relaxed ambience and thoughtful displays of history, as for its outstanding wines. Featuring several varieties including Pinot Gris, Riesling, Rose, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Shiraz/Cab Sav and Cabernet Sauvignon, a guided tasting at Paramoor Winery by winemaker Will Fraser is a must for anyone touring the picturesque Macedon Ranges.
Services
In 2012, Australian Wine Guru, James Halliday, awarded Paramoor Winery a 5 star rating in his definitive wine guide, 'James Halliday's 2013 Australian Wine Companion'. James Halliday has given several of our wines very high scores in his recent wine companion, with the 2009 'Joan Picton' Pinot Noir being rated at an exceptional 96.
Rugged and unspoilt, with a post-card worthy view at almost every turn, the Macedon Ranges have shaped some of Australia's true pioneering history. And this history is tangible in the Macedon Ranges.

Just down the road from Paramoor Winery, the iconic Hanging Rock (of 'Picnic At Hanging Rock' fame) is a firm favourite with visitors; as are the stunning historical townships of Kyneton, Woodend and Malmsbury- renowned jewels in Victoria's tourism crown. And then there's the wine. 30 or so producers compete in the Ranges to provide the ultimate tasting experience.
Members of our mailing list get access to our mail order home delivery service that puts any of our range of fine, award winning wines on your doorstep. You'll also enjoy exclusive special offers; and we keep all our Paramoor Wine Club members up to date with a regular newsletter; filling you in on our new wine releases and upcoming events at the winery including concerts, plays, and the Macedon Ranges Budburst Festival.

Loved this place! So after a day of wine tasting I can truthfully say, everything I tried was awesome. Went here as part of a mystery weekend where picnic items were collected along the way, ending here, where we ate.
The owners created the winery as part of a retirement and aim to keep it small, which enables them to give you that personal touch.
We will be going back here in the future and have passed the details of this wonderful place to all our friends.
Thank you - this was the highlight of our day.

A brilliant cellar door experience. Apart from the amazing surrounds and the magnificent converted barn, this place has some of the best small batch wines Victoria has to offer. (if not THE best). You can tell straightway they know their business here.
You won't regret coming.
