This is a great establishment. The customer service with the three people that I dealt with were all very helpful and willingness to explain things in simple terms.
I loved the fact they even showed me the part they replaced and talk through the issue.
I don't know much about cars, but I felt they are 100% genuine and will do the right thing for the customer.

They instantly identified an obvious coolant leak and were able to arrange for it to be fixed 2 days later. Knowledgeable and experienced and friendly. Will definitely make this my regular pit stop!

After having my car at a another local mechanic twice with no resolution I was recommended to try Prahran Auto.
From the get go I was kept up to date with the troubleshooting involved and thanks to their fantastic faultfinding skills the team were able to resolve my fords issues and the car has be running great ever since.
This is the only place Iâll take my car from now on.
I canât recommend David and Tony highly enough.

Charged me $488 for a service, to replace an actuator which I provided and check the seat heating for my 2003 Honda Accord. Not sure if this is in line with market prices but seems excessive to me. I may be wrong.
Didnât listen to my instructions to replace the brake pads and just âpolishedâ them.
Also didnât listen to my instructions on where the logbook was in the car and filled in the 180,000 km by accident when the service was for 160,000 km. Iâve now paid just under $500 to have an incorrectly filled logbook and need to get the pads replaced elsewhere.

Dave diagnosed the fault with my electric window promptly and closed and isolated it until a replacement switch could be found. He located the required part online, ordered it and had it delivered within 24 hours.I was notified when it arrived, took the car in, and the new switch was installed within minutes.
I have been using Prahran Auto for about 15 years and am always happy with their work.

I need to shout this from the rooftop!! After googling "auto electricians" I discovered this tiny little workshop in Prahran. My dad's car and my hubby's car had both been supposedly 'fixed' elsewhere and were constantly playing up. I called and spoke to a gentleman named David who was happy to have a look at both cars to see if he could fix them.… My dad's car was towed to the workshop and within a couple of hours, these magicians had fixed his car. Seeing what a great job they had done, I brought my hubby's car in. Now this one was always going to be complicated as our family mechanic

David was an absolute champ! I'd dropped my wedding ring down the side of the seat and couldn't find it. Being quite anxious about it all, David came to rescue and told me to drop by. Took the chair out and found it under the carpet. He didn't even want to charge me, which I couldn't allow. You do not get service like this at all these days. Genuinely nice guy! Thank you to David and the lads down at Prahran Auto Service Centre! #muchappreciation
