CrossFit IB develops a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit, our training program of choice, can be used to accomplish any goal-from improved health and weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone. It doesn't matter if you're just starting out or have been training for years.
Everything we do here at CrossFit IB is built on the Iron Athlete program, which is designed to help you build elite-level strength, conditioning, and overall athleticism through expertly programmed training cycles. Each of these cycles is founded on three key pillars of training.
Our metabolic conditioning sessions are designed to help you boost your natural metabolism, improve your cardio (which is responsible for MASSIVE increases in energy), and increase your muscular stamina so you can stay energised all day long.Our strength sessions focus on all three types of muscle development: definition, shape/tone, and length/flexibility.

Growth is the foundation for our Iron Athlete program. Everything we do is purpose built to constantly improve you as an individual. For us, this means objective measurable programming. Every cycle, we measure your progress against the three pillars of the program: strength, conditioning, and composition.
Objective - The objective of this training cycle is to improve our overall strength and endurance with a major focus on squat strength and a minor on overhead pressing strength. If you do decide to train on a rest day, add some mobility exercises and the programmed engine WOD. Testing - We will be doing a benchmark test at the beginning of your cycle and then another one after 15 weeks to assess your progress.

Joined Crossfit-IB just after the 2020 lockdown. Previous 3yrs prior had been doing bootcamp style workouts and my then gym entered a competition at Crossfit-IB which totally blew my mind away. It was different to what I'd been doing and my mindset switched upto another level.
Adams knowledge of the human body and its mechanics is next level crazy, his programming caters to all levels of fitness and ages! Love Crossfit Iron Barbell!
Jess, Adam and Chris are extremely knowledgeable and attentive coaches – really helpful and an inspiration to look up to. When we first came across Iron Barbell, we were really impressed to learn about their ranking system; for each workout you have scaled options based on a personalised rank assessment that you complete when you first join. This makes their programming easy to understand based on your abilities, with a clear growth path. (This is extremely valuable to me, being a noob who’s still learning basic technique!)
Their mentality around a healthy lifestyle

Just love & adore Crossfit IB. Adams programming and coaching is absolutely second to none. The fundamentals of lifting and CrossFit are taught with a good balance of simplicity and detail, people of all fitness levels will benefit from his coaching. I had a rather long list of prerequisites before joining a crossfit box and Iron barbell ticked every box. Everyone is extremely warm, welcoming and humble (ego is left at the door). I’ve met some life long friends and have learned so much since becoming a member. Not to mention, I’ve gained so much strength, both mentally and physically! 💫ðŸ

The only place I will train! Adam and Jess are the best of the best, it’s easy to stay consistent and get results at CrossFit IB because they have created such an awesome community, the programming is spot on and of course the excellent coaching brings it all together!

Iron Barbell is the best in the business, it has honestly changed my entire outlook on life and training. The coaches are second to none and honestly care about everyone and their progress. The programming is incredible and has real purpose behind each and every day. I look forward to the 90 minutes in the gym every single day!

CF Iron Barbell is great. The structure of classes and mix of strength, skills development and conditioning means variety. It also means I’m pushed each class and guided through a work out that improves my fitness and my abilities. Jess and Adam are very welcoming and help adapt the movements to suit your need and ability level.
