Hard on Fitness first opened its doors in 2002 as a complete fitness studio providing private one-on-one and larger group personal training sessions. The studio is fully equipped with a great range of free weights, weight machines, and cardio equipment. We have also recently introduced Hammer Strength equipment.

Our studio is conveniently and centrally located at Holland Park on Brisbane's south-side. It's a place where you can feel safe, secure, comfortable, and truly confident that your training will achieve great results. You will be supported and motivated each step of the way by one of our qualified personal trainers.
Services
I have trained with a number of personal trainers over the years, and whilst I had some results, there was never a level of real personal care. Then I found Hard on Fitness, I can train in the private and climate controlled gym. Whilst the location is convenient and I enjoy the privacy, it's Alan that keeps me coming back for more.

I had a really sore shoulder from doing some repetitive lifting. The movement and pain assessment carried out at HOF was very comprehensive (much more than my GP assessment). I had two massage sessions on my sore shoulder and this really helped loosen things up and get back to pain-free movement. I believe the targeted massage helped get me back to lifting again much earlier than just resting and taking anti-inflammatory tablets.

I trained with Alan once a week for 4 weeks loved the sessions so much I increased it to 2 sessions per week. I had not been in a gym for many years, trusted Alan from day one, I love the training programs Alan sets for me, he is s true professional, his knowledge and experience really pays off. I recently completed the 2019 Tough Mudder 16km course including 25 obstacles In 4hours 15 minutes and my fitness was really tested. Alan understands what outcomes you expect from your training and works you hard to ensure you achieve your goals. Thank you Alan for training me, believing in me, inspiring

Alan uses his 20+ years of experience to make sure that the workout routine he does with you is suited to what you need and the effort that you're willing to put in. If you work with him to achieve your goals, he helps every step of the way. Being able to play your own music is also really great as well, along with the additional support from his dog Apollo, who is friendly and makes you feel welcome.

My husband goes there every week. When I hurt my back from work, I found it hard to move. Alan offered to massage me even I'm not his client and helped me to recover! I was able to move again without hurting immediately after the massage. And Alan offered some helpful advice to keep me moving. I am very grateful for his help to me and my husband.

Seriously the best massage I’ve ever had. I have no idea how Alan does it but he knows exactly where my problems are without me having to say a thing. I could barely move my arms before I went in but walked out feeling so free and flexible.
Alan is seriously the most caring human being on the planet.
His training is exceptional too and even though I’m currently in France he still checks in on me to make sure I’m training and looking after myself.
Al will be my PT for life. He’s seriously the best.

I have been going to Allan now for about 6 months he is such a wonderful trainer . He is also very knowledgeable about fitness an he really knows how to train you well his experience in training is amazing I’ve never felt better an fitter ever before.also his ability in massage therapy does wonders he knows exactly where the pain in the muscles are an fixes it

If you want someone that understands your fitness goals and is prepared to work with you regardless of your age, well Alan should be your first choice as a Personal Trainer. He endeavours to take into account your age, ailments and ensures to train you safely and not to exacerbate any existing health problems. Also if needed Alan can offer a great therapeutic massage for targeted troubled areas, eg neck, shoulder, legs etc, so if looking for a new start to 2018 for your health, Alan at Hard on Fitness should be definitely considered.
