Revive offers individual consultations for acute or chronic conditions and health programs, combining science & nature to restore health and improve vitality. Regular weekly hatha yoga classes & private classes are offered, giving you the opportunity to provide nourishment to every part of your being.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Alison and this is the short version of my journey to health and wellness. I grew up on a small farm, where our food was mostly grown or bred. I didn't know that this was a healthy lifestyle at the time; as for me, this was perfectly normal. Takeaways and processed foods were not a part of my diet and my mother's baking and cooking was part of the daily routine.
Naturopathy is a complete system of health care that combines science and nature to assist with the restoration of health. It is a term of recent origin, however its principles and practices are based upon thousands of years of traditional forms of healing that are blended with modern scientific knowledge.
I am incredibly excited about the latest research regarding our gut bacteria (microbiome) and how it relates to our health. For many years Naturopaths have been investigating gut health and how, if it is not looked after, it can contribute to a variety of dysfunctions in the body; there is now a wide body of evidence that verifies this.
What is Classical Hatha Yoga. It is the origin of yoga, that evolved in India thousands of years ago. Its name represents the sun being "ha" and the moon being"tha", aiming to join or yoke the two. Hatha yoga encompasses physical yoga postures, which seal and direct energy; breathing that enhances life force, creating a heathy mind and body; and, relaxation that encourages energy changes.
A general group class is not always suitable for everyone. Private classes offer flexibility and convenience, allowing you to formulate a class at a time and day that fits your lifestyle. Personalised instruction is given that is tailored to your own style at a level of practice for your own body. Sessions may include individuals, couples, and family members.

I have been enjoying Alison's yoga classes for 2 years, twice a week and highly recommend her wonderful personalised teaching style. The small class setting and lovely environment creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing yet energising experience. I really appreciate that Alison has supported my growth by adjusting the poses to my level of ability.

Alison is an excellent teacher of yoga. She has an extensive knowledge of asanas and this, combined with her empathetic and caring teaching style encourages students of all abilities. I have attended classes with Alison for 4 years. At the start I was very rusty,but with Alison's encouragement and direction, over that time I have improved my yoga practice and consequenty, my health dramatically. The studio has a beautiful forest outlook and classes are limited to a maximum of 6. This allows Alison to ensure each student is correctly aligned and so receiving most benefit from each asana.
