I have been a member of Real Fit Gym for 11 years. Throughout this time I have found the manager, Dave, to be an experienced and enthusiastic trainer who constantly undertakes PD to improve his skill set, so he can pass his knowledge onto gym members. Dave genuinely cares about all aspects of your well being and designs programs to suit my individual needs. He then ensures I fully understand all the exercises and how to safely use the equipment. Dave is never far away to answer any queries.

I've been a member of a large gym for many years, but have lacked motivation, doing the same old boring exercises when I could be bothered going. I finally bit the bullet and decided to join Fred at Realfit for a 12 week challenge - I'm glad I did! Fred works you hard, but provides enough variation, challenges and expert advice to really make a difference. Mid way through I feel stronger than I have in years, and have really enjoyed the sessions. I would recommend it to anyone.

Fred is the genuine article and has been instrumental in helping me achieve my fitness goals. My goal in entering the 12 week program was to lose weight and build muscle. Now halfway through the program I have already seen my body begin to show the signs of the hard work that Fred has instilled; greater muscle definition and tone and several kilos of weight lost with more to go. Fred has not only pushed me to my limit during training sessions (to the point where I end the session drenched in sweat), he has also provided invaluable dietary and meal prep advice, dispelling some of my long held incorrect

While I’ve always tried to keep fit and healthy, having kids has made it hard to maintain a regular routine. I’ve never been a gym person but needed a kick start so dropped into Realfit and spoke to Fred about the 12 week challenge they offer. Was a bit skeptical at first but Fred has created such a friendly and welcoming environment that I signed up.

I've never been comfortable in gyms - until I came to Real Fit. There's a lot of people in my age group and fitness level, which helps me feel like I belong. All the other gym-goers are really friendly too. Dave and Fred (my trainers) are amazing! They're funny, encouraging, supportive, and all-round nice guys. But don't let that fool you - they push hard too! It's well worth it, though. I've been going here for personal training for the last few months (lockdown permitting!) and feel great. I can see the training working for me, and my goals coming closer. Give it a go!!!

Where do I start, Real fit gym is what I think about when I think of the perfect gym. I started the 12 week challenge program and I am in my fourth week thoroughly enjoying , awesome energy and knowledge that you get from the Fred, Dave , Jawed here, they are eager to help and will to take time with you. Also they understand what you are striving… for and they WILL get you there and further, while having fun. The classes are intense for every level athlete, and you will love the diverse workout combinations and complemented by the awesome group I train with , I will definitely recommend

The management team are understanding and flexible plus they were always opening new doors for me to expand my skillset and experience. The 12 week challenge provided me with the structure, variety and accountability I needed. I didn’t get bored because each session was different. Even though I did the 12 week challenge with a small group, each individual had a personalised program. Over the years I have tried numerous fitness programs, but this is definitely my favourite. Additionally, Fred has a vast amount of knowledge re. exercise, fitness and food and he is willing to support you on and off the field.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Fred’s 12 week challenge. It has greatly improved my strength, co-ordination, balance and overall well-being, and toned up my flabby bits. The workouts are varied and never boring or predictable. Fred gets the best out of the customers. Fred is also very generous in offering advice on diet and exercise, and is a thoroughly decent fellow to boot. Sign up; you won’t regret it.
