Services
Alison, Chris & Laura have been in the Bay since 2007. We moved so we could work for ourselves & given we are from small country towns chose Apollo Bay for its character, charm & community life. A great place to bring up our daughter away from the impersonal life of the larger cities. We know what its like to need a break so come and enjoy a friendly stay with us.

I had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in one of the apartments at the Beachcombers. The room was clean and spacious, comfy bed, great shower with plenty of pressure. The location was perfect, a 2 minute walk to the main strip and the rates were very reasonable. The only thing better than all that was the great staff! A family run business who were very accomodating and helpful. Thanks again to the Cooney Family, I'll definitely be back!

Had such a pleasure staying here over the weekend.
Great location - close to the Main Street but just off so it’s quite and tranquil.
Rooms - clean, renovated, cosy. Had a very enjoyable and comfortable sleep. Has an A/C and a ceiling fan, tv, fridge, kettle etc. Was perfect for us.
Service - wonderful. The hotel is run by a retired couple who are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you! We will be coming back.

My wife and I love visiting this motel. Apollo Bay is about 110 km from Geelong and 150 km from Warrnambool making it a wonderful place to base yourself to explore the wonders of the Great Ocean Road. Alison and Chris are delightful hosts and their motel is convenient to all that Apollo Bay has to offer, while being a couple of block back from the main road. The rooms are quiet, clean, cosy and comfortable, as well as great value for money.
I highly recommend The Beachcomber for anyone venturing down to this beautiful part of the world.

This place was lovely and cosy. It was cleaned really well and the fore place and spa were immaculate.
The owners Allison and Chris were amazing. They were the perfect hosts and made our stay even better. We would recommend this place to everyone that comes here and we will certainly be coming back here next time to stay
