ME: "Hi, I'd like to book my bike in for a service."
SHOP: "Sure, bring it in, but we're pretty busy so we won't be able to start on it for a few days."
ME: "OK, what day should I bring it in?"
SHOP: "Friday."
ME: "Will I be able to collect it the same day?"
SHOP: "No, we have to do all the other bikes first."
ME: "Will you start on it on Friday?"
SHOP: "No."
ME: "What day should I bring it in to avoid leaving it there for days?"
SHOP: "You have to leave it here to be in the queue." (There is literally a physical queue of bikes)
ME: "Maybe I'll try again later when you're less busy."
