We had The Hampton's in Blairgowrie booked for our summer holiday from February with a couple of other family. The agent Justin asked us to pay more for the house as he did not update the listing. Which we agreed to pay.
After paying the next instalment in September we were told that the house was double booked and too bad but its going to the other group even though we have already had paid the deposit over 6 months before. Why was the listing still available to other parties. Obviously a better deal came along and more commission can be made.

We rented a beautiful property in Blairgowrie through Peninsula Coastal Holidays for the long weekend just been. We absolutely loved our stay. Sonia was so lovely to deal with and her communication about everything to do with our booking was fantastic. We have also been dealing with Nerida at Briggs & Shaw this year and have always had a really great experience.

STAY AWAY FROM Peninsula Coast rentals (part of Briggs Shaw Real Estate). Our family had the worst experience with Andy Brown and Karen during our summer vacation. Both are extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. We spent $10,000 for a weeks accommodation in Blairgowrie and Andy took half our bond after our stay and wouldn't return it. They claimed because we cooked fish in the house, which caused a smell, this damaged the property and Andy withheld the bond as the owners needed to deodorise the house and dry clean the blankets (even though we used their preferred linen provider Rest

We've purchased a property in Sorrento and now rented it twice to long term tenants through Briggs Shaw. I've been impressed with everyone we've dealt with in their office, both through the purchase and then subsequent rentals.
