Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Kicking a disability support worker out and allowing their client to dine ALONE inside. Where the hell is the duty of care for this place.

I wouldn't even give one star, and do not recommend visiting these premises. Their staff like to fabricate stories regarding their patrons behaviour and ask you to pay for drinks you haven't received. Save yourself the trouble and try anywhere else

Went here on Tuesday night for a meal with friends. Won’t be doing that again. Worst meal we have ever had. Out of 4 of us only one person enjoyed their meal & that was the $20 special for the night. Us others… got the parmy. All were over cooked to the point where you could taste the burnt bread crumbs. The chips looked old & were luke warm. The salad was limp & had no life to it at all & there was no dressing on it either. Very disappointing considering the price you pay. Will DEFINITELY not be going back or recommending it to anyone. Will be sticking with the Kingsley

At a time when many venues are struggling to keep staff or stay open, the Woodvale turned on excellent meals (as usual) in addition to the large beer selection. Professional attitude but casual atmosphere… will be back.

Well the place certainly has some ups and downs.
Good pub, great food and beer selection, dog friendly.
Drunk abusive patrons at times go unnoticed and food ordering can be a lengthy affair when busy. QR code pay/ordering, especially outside would be fantastic.
Most of the staff are great and friendly. Would recommend.

Well . If it's not the fake Strongbow Dark Fruit on tap . . . It's getting Whamageddoned 4 days before Christmas.
The supposed Dark Fruit from the keg (on the left) had way too much a taste and a look of Strawberry flavoured type cider , totally different colour, As a regular consumer of Dark Fruit in the UK . Categorically can say this isn't the genuine product. Not sure what they're selling. But Strongbow Dark Fruit it certainly isn't.

I got the traditional chicken parmigiana and it was so yummy! Good serving size and the dressing on the salad was so tasty. Came here for a work thing and I've never seen so many clean plates! Highly recommend.

Had a platter for entree tonight. Food was stone cold especially the cheese balls. Ordered steak for the main course. The steak was completely overcooked and it tasted like rubber. Outrageous service with bad attitude.

It felt like we were bothering the staff by being there, food was thrown on the table with no cutlery or side plates. We had to get up and go to them twice to actually get cutlery and side plates. The food tasted reheated, not fresh, the steaks were completely overdone and were as tough as my shoe. Will not be going back. Shame that the Kingsley tavern was closed...

Great atmosphere (inside) for your standard bar and bistro - looked nice and very lively.
The menu had a decent number of options for vegetarians and pescetarians though only two options for vegans.
Had the fried gnocchi which was spectacular. Also had their sticky toffee pudding which was amazing.
Changes in serving would make their dining a 5 star experience... waiting on tables (currently order at counter) and being able to order drinks at the same time as food (seperate to the bar), aswell as managing their serving times (my meal came out after everyone had finished).
Was fortunate enough

Extremely noisy - not a great place for a quiet catch-up. Acceptable food but overpriced for what you get, and expect to queue for a long time whenever it starts getting busy.

The food here seldom disappoints. Reasonably priced good solid pub food. Awesome range of beers on tap. If you don't mind your dining experience noisy, quiz nights, bands etc., then this is the place for when you can't be bothered to cook, take a taxi, the beer is good.

Almost 9 years in Perth, why have I not been here sooner? Traditional British pub with extensive range of beers on tap and a solid menu of tasty pub grub. I was here last Sunday and was delighted to see they had a carvery roast on. $29.95 buys you soup, a huge plate of roast meat, veg and Yorkshire puddings and if you can manage it, pudding too. Family friendly, sports on tv but still somewhere you can relax or enjoy one of the many live acts on through the week.

I love my mini adventure time with Karine A, returning from getting a nut to finish a job on the yacht and it was lunch time driving down ocean reef road,

A "turn here let's try the woodvale ", finds us being entertained by the St Paddy's day, green clad band whilst ordering our lunch,

A short wait and our buzzer goes off, a short Irish jig to the counter and we were looking at each other with pleasantly surprised looks on our faces at the salads in front of us.

The presentation was spot on and the taste as well, one did not have to wade through a jungle of lettuce to find

This is the Moon and Sixpence rebadged as The Woodvale. It is setup as a traditional British pub and has a lively atmosphere with live entertainment provided during the busiest times. Food is a la carte and on Sundays there is the additional option of a fixed price Roast buffet that includes a soup entree, selection of roast meats and vegetables followed by a desert. This is usually a great option although more recently it's been badly organized with long queues due the roast meat not being ready and the soup and desert not being replenished when empty. Overall, this is a lively, family

The wood vale stays true to the concept of a tavern.

It's boisterous, it's beer soaked and it serves huge pub meals. What more could one ask for? It states that is an an English tavern, I don't know what difference that makes, unless they are insinuating that you won't find as much junk on the walls as you tend to in Irish pubs. (Which is a bit of a joke considering even the irish don't go "hey, we're setting up a pub, lets stick a wheelbarrow on the wall")

I have never stayed for a feed (more of a quality not quantity girl) but I have enjoyed some loud

The Woodvale Tavern is a cosy British-styled pub in - you guessed it - Woodvale.

For a British-styled pub, their beers are largely not British. Amongst the low-rent beers [i.e. Carlton, VB, and Tooheys] are some quality brews from local and international brewers. Abbott Ale is worth a taste if you like a hoppy ale [and is their only genuinely British beer], and they also feature Kronenburg 1664, which is a very good larger. They also feature Beez Neez, a honey-infused beer for those who like their beer sweet.

The atmosphere in the Woodvale is very casual and relaxed. There is also live music

The Woodvale Tavern serves up quality pub grub. All meals range around $20, whether you choose seafood, a hearty steak, chicken, home style pies, salad or vegetarian dishes.

In my opinion I'd suggest you bring your appetite and order sirloin steak served with golden fries and add the garlic sauce, $25.90 and the tasty thing around.

Only problem was last time I came here with a large group of people the food took forever to come out, but once it was in front of me, it didn't stay on the plate for long.
