Jack Caddy MBE was the first CEO of the Perth Market Authority. Jacks' name is synonymous with the Perth Markets and in turn fresh local produce here so we felt it fitting to name our main restaurant and bar after this local legend. Our motto is 'Market Fresh', which characterises our focus on sourcing and serving only local produce of the highest quality for our a la carte menu whenever possible.
The Sports Bar at Market City Tavern is open 7 days a week with all the big sporting events from Foxtel live on our big screens. Bar meals are available every day and we have full Pub Tab facilities. We are returning to a more normal operation for the Sports bar. After the WA Government announced the Phase 3 of WA's roadmap to get WA going again, we will be able to open the Sports Bar for our regular hours and for up to 100 guests.

We booked a week ago a table of 18 they knew we were coming and ordering meals. After 10 mins my father who ordered his food last got his meal while 17 of us waited. We waited a further 30 mins till a couple of us ordered entrees we got them in five minutes. However our main order still hadn't arrived and yet tables that were seated after us ordered after us had gotten their meals eaten them and left. The service was disgusting. No explanation of why our meal was so long, no apologies, actually tried to blame us. An hour for food? Including orders of wedges and sides. If I could give them zero

Took far too long to get orders out. we reserved seating a week ago to celebrate two family members birthdays, one of which was an 18th birthday. took over an hour to get our food, the person that ordered last got theirs first, the first people that ordered didn’t get any food before we left. No one came out and spoke to us about the hold up and we had to go up and speak to them multiple times. all i ordered was a side of wedges and some steamed veggies and for some reason it would’ve taken over an hour to get if i hadn’t left before then to get something that simple. in the end they blamed

Had a great night here. Chose to go here purely based on a Google Map search of pubs and this one was close to home. We got the cheese and garlic pizza to share for entree and it was the size of a normal pizza! Was fresh and hot 👌 for mains, we got the Guinness pie and schnitzel with garlic sauce. Both meals were generous and tasted great! They also offer complimentary soft serve ice cream 🍦 the chefs are friendly and said their aim is to ensure that none of their patrons go to Maccas afterwards - and we definitely didn't; we were so full!. Will definitely be going back; have found my new

We went for dinner last night and it was very busy so we waited a really long time for our food. The salad bar is quite sad, and the dessert bar is very limited. We had the cheese and garlic calzone, which appeared to be minus the garlic; however it was perfectly cooked and wonderf and crispy around the edges. We ordered the fish & chips and the porterhouse steak and both were incredibly tasteless. If you asked me what fish it was, I would probably say tofu... not even fish flavoured tofu... it tasted like nothing and so did the batter it was fried in. The tartare sauce also tasted like nothing
