Carine tavern us our local, it was really hit and miss for a while so much so we would drive to other suburbs for a good meal. Recently the food has improves so much. The interior looks so much more welcoming (especially around tv/sport area) we usually sit in the outside area you can order all food and drinks directly from the table. And these guys should be up there for best parmi in Perth. (Also pic of pork belly which was very nice too).

17/12/22021 We had a Xmas group lunch with set menu booked from 1230. My entre was satay chicken which was beautiful, mains was the barramundi which I might say was very tasty BUT the meal was lukewarm if that and the fish was not cooked thoroughly. The middle of the fillet was not cooked and you couldn’t break it apart with a fork like you could on the edge. By now it’s like 2pm and the rest of the group hadn’t even had their chosen main. This did follow eventually then was desert. By 330 still no desert and unknown to me the manager or whomever came out to say sorry for the delay and their

I wanted to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star so, First time meal was great and staff were lovely (6+ months ago). I went a few weeks ago and due to a recent medical circumstances I can only eat pureed food, it's a shame they no longer do soups as I know they used to do them!, their sides menu has potato's and I asked if they could mash them which they said no lol was considering ordering the salmon just for the mashed potato sides but ridiculous price to pay when I'd just be eating the mash. Anyway was embarassing for me going with a group of 10 and not being able to eat anything. Please

Was relaxing with my kids on a Friday pm after work at approx 5:30pm waiting on some friends arriving on our table which can sit x6 outside in the alfresco area when Tom the Assistant Manager came out after I had ordered (and received) drinks and snacks waiting on my friends to arrive And he said in a very final way, “unfortunately you have to move, the table is booked” I politely expressed I was unhappy as there was nothing on the table to say it was booked and was happy with the table. No apology just the statement.

Not a bad pub and located right next to Dan Murphy's so you can top up before you head home.
Food is decent and a good pub size, with the expected steak sandwich, porterhouse, and chicken parmy as some of the several options available (salad / dressing seemed like it was a bit old).
Drinks wise I'd say are shorter on the options though all the staples are covered, that said anything which comes in a stubby may be missed

Used to be 5 stars, now only just comes in at a mere 1… steak sandwich was dry and way over cooked? menu has changed for the kids, popcorn chicken is too spicy… bring back the dinosaur nuggets, we used to go there twice a week, today there was broken glass in the play ground and not a staff member in sight to clean it up, my wife cleaned it up so the other kiddos were safe…

I had a very positive experience here last night service wise, good tavern service in Perth can be really hard to get. I would come back just for the service.
I deduct one star because I ordered prawns on the side of my meal for $8 and only got 3, and my Caesar salad didn’t have any egg on it as stated in the menu which was a bit disappointing. So the food could use so improvement.
Overall a very positive customer service experience.

I visited a friend here and was really impressed with this venue!!
The food was incredible - Price & Serving Size!
The staff were incredibly friendly and ensured I was well looked after!
My only constructive comment would be for bar staff to be mindful of the conversations & language used for private/personal conversations.
Whilst hearing a few swear words was not going to ruin my night, I know other patrons who might be quite upset - especially with the frequency of the words.
I definitely will be back however! Food was really yummy & the atmosphere was lovely!
