Disgraceful place that won’t serve people with medical exemptions for not wearing a mask. They need to understand that people are legally not required to show there medical information under the privacy act of 1968. Will not be going there or recommending to anyone

Unfortunately, the Herdsman Lake Tavern rejected service to a customer today with a lawful mask exemption. I know this customer personally, so as much as the response in a previous review says they do serve those with exemptions, unfortunately on this occasion they did not! All staff and management need to know the laws around this, especially going forward with how things are in WA. Here are a few pointers to get you started on education: (picture attached)

Had a spur of the moment lunch here today and was delighted. Well trained staff delivered a delicious meal in record time. Have been celebrating a milestone birthday last month and this establishment was right up there amongst the best 😀

Although the staff and beer selection are very good the system for Tap, order & pay did not seem to work for me. Waited 20 minutes for food order on a Monday night and my drink order never appeared
I ordered the Monday schnitzel burger for $12 and thought that was good value.

The Herdsman Lake Tavern is a place I visit regularly. The Manager Samantha and her team always ensure our experience is amazing. The food is great and table service is always very quick. I highly recommend the Mediterranean stack…absolutely delicious.

Impromptu lunch with the family on a Saturday. Service was excellent & the food did not disappoint either. 3 people in our party had the fish & chips, 1 steak sandwich & 1 burger. All agreed the food was delicious. Will definitely be back 😀

The staff here are by the best service we have ever had, the friendliness, cheerful, respectful, smiley, happy.. I could keep going! Extremely happy with their service & the food was delicious! Also a playground for the kids aswell!!

The Herdy is mine and my partners new local. The staff are lovely, the service is great and price's are affordable. The food is absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully 😍 always a great atmosphere too.

I had the BBQ pork ribs and the cut of ribs was the worst I've ever had from a restaurant. Good flavour, and soft meat but full of small bones and loaded with grizzle.

This was the 1st time visit to The Herdsman lake tavern and we were pleasantly surprised..Good choice of meals and drinks available. service was polite, friendly and prompt. Meals were of substantial size and although Pub meals which in most case you would expect them to be slightly cheaper than a restaurant they were actually on the slightly higher price. In saying this as mentioned them were all of substantial size, and cooked to perfection. There was a table of 6 of us and we all enjoyed our meals, deserts, teas and coffees and great service. Will definitely be back

This place is family friendly atmosphere with great table service from the staff.
The food is delicious with wide range of choices on the menu. I have been here many times for Dinner and lunch every time the food and service experienced is of a high standard.
Parking is easy and entry is accessible for all people as there are on stairs to navigate.
Yes I recommend this place for great value for money and I will be back here in the near future.
