We know that you might feel reluctant or hesitant at the thought of opening up in counselling. However, the feedback we've had from many men is that they've found their conversations with us to be the most effective and validating conversations of their lives. We'll help you to understand what your underlying issues are and to face the hidden feelings driving your problems.
In Couples Counselling your relationship is the client rather than the two of you as individuals. Within a calm, welcoming environment our skilled MRC Consultant will support you to listen to one another and learn how to resolve your relationship issues in a constructive way. Our MRC Consultants have the experience, background and qualifications to guide you and your partner to develop a more supportive relationship.
At Men and Relationships Counselling coaching is both a mentoring experience and structured program. It provides men with the opportunity of discovering new ways to change their lives free of judgment and shame. Our coaching is facilitated by MRC associates who are experts in understanding and engaging men.
Often, it is the sense of stimulation and reward experienced in an addiction that becomes a craving and needs to be there constantly and repeated continuously. It may be hurting your loved ones and creating a real struggle in your relationships and in your life in general. The addiction to a substance or behaviour may be giving you temporary relief from a deep-seated problem or issue.

It’s always hard finding the right therapist that you’re comfortable with especially one that will understand your cultural background too. I was happy I found a South Asian therapist that was able to understand the stigma on mental disorders in the cultural community. It took me a few sessions until I knew I found the one for my needs. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I know I’m on the right track to healing thanks to her!
