Great location. Comfortable and clean room. Good value for money. The only negative from my perspective was that there was no kettle in the room, and you needed to go down to the foyer to make a cup of coffee or Tea. That said the facilities available are excellent, so I guess it's a small compromise.

Fraud. I paid cash as deposit but the staff refused to return my money back. I showed my receipt in the reception and called them and sent email as well. They just ignored.

Great value accommodation near Central station in Sydney. Rooms are not fancy but bathroom was modern and room extremely clean. Would highly recommend as good value if U just need a room to sleep and spend minimal time in. Free tea/coffee/snacks downstairs in reception.

When I was speaking to the manager and was trying to get some information in regards to the Covid rules, I was continuously interrupted and no conversation was able to take place. I felt extremely disrespected by this behaviour. It was very unprofessional and I am very certain that I will never visit this place due to her disgusting actions.

Very central to eateries, pubs and 5 minutes to central station. No kettle or microwave in the rooms, have to go downstairs for free coffee. Also had to turn bed around facing the closest wall felt claustrophobic. Clean tidy rooms, staff friendly and helpful.

Only stayed one night. The gentleman at the reception desk was lovely very obliging. Thought I had booked the room through bookings.com. Arrived about 10:30pm only to find no booking. Dont worry all is OK, we have one room left. The room was spotless, beautiful crisp linen sheets on the bed and fresh white towels in the bathroom. What a delight. I would recommend anyone to stay there. Extra bonus fabulous coffee machine in the foyer available to the guests 24/7 no charge. I certainly would not hesitate to stay there again. Due to waiting on transport were a little late checking out the next day

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Surry Hills. There are eateries right outside the door and the subway and railway is just 5 minutes walk. At the end of the block is a mid-sized busy grocery store which can be handy to stock up your little fridge.
The room I stayed in seemed a bit small and the bathroom was quite funky. It was like a glass wall partition with curtains. It took getting used to.
I was there for over a week.

The staff was hit and miss.
Let's start with the good.
Jayla was amazing; so nice, down-to-earth and pleasantly helpful. She gave the place "warmth

The hotel is named after studio 57 and you'll see that immediately when you get into the disco lift. There's a disco ball and disco music playing inside.

Free grab and go breakfast, tea and coffee served from 6-10 am. Refrigerated water available at all times. Items are small pastries and pre packaged lamingtons. Everything was pretty delicious. The front desk people are all very friendly.

I'm giving a 3 star rating because of the room itself. The bathroom in particular was horrendously designed. There's a window looking into the toilet area and anyone from the adjacent room

This boutique hotel is indeed not bad. Convenient located in Surry Hills close to Chinatown w/ plenty to eat. Subway stations are close by & basically a lot of sightseeing & shopping places are within walking distance. Staff are friendly & helpful. Really appreciate the all-u-can-drink 24/7 Nespresso coffee & morning pastries. I always need those as soon as I'm awake. :P

Disco Queen is a descent size. Really comfy bed w/ adequate air conditioning. So cool to have your own personal iPad!

However, I did see a stain on one of a bed sheets. One of the mugs was dirty

It's hard to recommend this place enough.

The location is great: just minutes from Central, making it easy to get just about everywhere by train or bus. (I also happily walked to and from Circular Quay, the Botanical Garden, and other places, but those distances may not be to everyone's tastes.)

The rooms are "small" (by American standards) but very nice, and the size was not surprising (indeed, a tiny bit larger than I expected). Comfortable bed, usable desk, good bathroom, and very clean. Toiletries like skin balm. Air conditioning. Be aware that the bathroom has only a

Great stay at the 57 hotel. Super conveniently located a few blocks from the Central train station and in the heart of Surry Hills. Check-in was super easy and the lobby features a giant expresso machine that begs to be used along with a fridge full of bottled water. Free breakfast featuring pastries was also nice. The room itself wasn't huge but could sleep 3 as it had a queen bed and a twin bed. The bathroom is interesting to say the least... With the curtain open, you can see the entire bathroom but you can close the curtain if you want some privacy. Let's just say that this

The hotel felt very clean and new. I love the modern deco. Housekeeping straightens up and makes every spic and span again every day. It's small, but the design is very smart. Instead of a closet, there's a rack for about 5 hangers. We packed light and only stayed in the hotel to rest, so we had enough space for what we needed: sleep and shower. If your wardrobe is bigger, you might need to have a room bigger than the standard full-size we got. I have paid more for a room that size in downtown Chicago, so I have no reason to complain. Staff is pleasant and helpful. There's always

Super cute, convenient location, and a massive Nespresso machine that practically begs to make coffee for you.

There's a 50% chance that you get to ride the disco elevator, which we all enjoyed. If you like a more mellow ride, there's a 50% chance that you'll ride the non-disco one. Either way, working elevators = good elevators.

The staff was super accommodating when we had to make changes, which was cool.

What was not cool was the absence of a mini-fridge. We had to pop off to the shop down the street each time we needed milk for our little one.

This boutique hotel is worth every penny. It's clean, in a great location next to Central Station, and has everything one needs while traveling. The interior design is modern and the rooms come with iPads which is a nice touch I haven't seen elsewhere. They conveniently serve water and have a Nespresso machine in the lobby. The location is walking distance to central station and crown street, where there's tons of food and boutique/vintage shops. The staff has all been helpful and accomodating, offering umbrellas for the rain and giving recommendations on where to eat/drink. I&apos
