Today we are a small team of dedicated teachers, presenting yoga classes - including Beginners and mixed Open Level yoga classes. The studio is a beautiful, light-filled space that looks out over Kensington's glorious old elm trees. Our experienced and dedicated teachers are informed and inspired by the diverse training and study each has pursued over the years, and by the integrity that many years of yoga practice, study and of teaching brings.

We are passionate about what we teach. And we teach and practice mindfully, with care, humour and warmth, and with attention to the ease of every person present. Most of our classes are Open level - which means they are open to all levels of experience, including Beginners. We aim in our classes to strike a balance between the physical, the mind and the emotions - through movement, breathing enquiry, relaxation and meditation.
Services
OPEN CLASSES Most of our classes are OPEN; this means they are mixed level and open to all, including Casual attendance and Beginners. If you feel an attachment to one of the passes not included in the new system - speak with us. It is possible to organise other options - especially for anyone who may wish to attend classes more than once a week.
These are private sessions, done on a massage table, and are around 60-90 minutes. Discounted packages available for booking a number of sessions. Clinical Somatics can assist dramatically with reducing pain. They really help to create lasting change. The movements we explore in Somatics may be very simple.
In all the classes I teach my aim is to point the students in the direction of increased awareness and ease in all that they do. My classes include a combination of yoga practices including pranayama, asana and guided relaxation. In each of these we begin with basics and build from there to increase the level of challenge to suit each students individual strengths and needs.
People often ask WHAT SORT OF YOGA DO YOU TEACH? JUST YOGA is my answer: sometimes gentle and sometimes more dynamic; somatic movement, breath awareness, meditation. My aim? Leading myself, and hopefully sometimes to others, to living with a greater degree of awareness and ease. I have been practicing yoga on and off since the age of 18.
Belinda has a warm and nurturing teaching style influenced by her ongoing exploration of the many different styles and practices yoga offers. Each student is invited to work at their own level tuning in to create awareness of their body and mind, their strengths and challenges. My classes include a combination of yoga practices including pranayama, asana and guided relaxation.

My first experience of yoga was at Harvest with pre-natal classes run by the lovely Belinda. This was one of my favourite things about being pregnant - a chance to relax and enjoy gentle movement every week in a peaceful and supportive environment. I then did regular mums and bubs yoga - also with Belinda - which was also ideal. They offer a range of classes for different levels, all with experienced and friendly instructors. I can highly recommend the studio for those wanting a calming, supportive and professional setting.

Meditation and relaxation classes at Harvest Yoga have played a key part in managing my personal challenges and, in particular, anxiety. The studio is a welcoming and peaceful space where I feel calm and relaxed. Rick is a fabulous guide and teacher and attentative to each student. There is no Hollywood hype at Harvest Yoga, the classes are about your personal needs and goals and not if you can stand on your head. In recent years, Rick’s Somatic Classes have brought a new dimension to my practise and awareness of my body and how to focus on problem areas using small movements to realign the body

I have participated in Rick’s yoga classes for several years, over many seasons. From the outset, the venue is calming, amongst the tree tops, and welcoming. I might add that it smells wonderful! Rick is an excellent, gentle and experienced yoga teacher. He is encouraging and assists me within my limitations and gym injuries. I sincerely recommend Rick & Harvest Yoga.

It’s always so Calm and Peaceful as soon as you enter the Studio. Ricks knowledge encompasses all aspects of Yoga. And he is always able to offer an alternative to any asana. His classes help when I had back and shoulder issues. I highly recommend Harvest Yoga to anyone looking for an inclusive, peaceful yoga class.

Harvest is a haven, lush, light filled and welcoming.
Rick teaches from a place of knowing, integrating his extensive experience and knowledge to provide classes for all body types and abilities.
During my two year yoga teacher training Rick made himself available to guide and support my practice. His generous genuine nature, encouragement and openness added immeasurable value to both my spiritual and self development. Rick provided the scaffolding to adapt my practice during injury and gently encouraged me to face resistance to challenging postures, using humour, kindness and discipline in perfect

It's so nurturing to attend Harvest Yoga at the end of my working day. The space has been created with much care and attention to detail. As others have mentioned, it's a luminous and inviting space. Always warm on these cold winter days and refreshing in the warmer weather, with great big, wooden doors that let in the breeze.
Rick is a wonderful teacher and has selected great company amongst his fellow teachers. I have been lucky enough to attend classes with Rick, Belinda and Lisa, each with their own special qualities. Rick has a fabulous sense of humour and his classes are both informative

A beautiful welcoming and inclusive space for yoga. Experienced and caring teachers. I have enjoyed classes with all of the teachers here and have especially loved experiencing somatic yoga included in Ricks classes. His knowledge and understanding, being a qualified Clinical Somatics Educator and Movement Teacher, is authentically weaved through out his classes.

I've been attending Harvest Yoga regularly for over 2 years now, even though I moved a little further away a year ago. I have practiced yoga for 20 years and used to teach it, and have a background in exercise science. I usually attend Rick's yoga/somatics classes and really enjoy them. I find him a great teacher; knowledgable, safe and professional with good instruction and guidance and a grounded and humorous approach. Physically the classes have helped to alleviate tension resulting from my work and prevent injury, although I particularly like the way they facilitate awareness, cultivating the
