This was a great place to stay with everything at your fingertips. Beautiful outlook over the lake, plenty of room for a large family, well appointed kitchen and pantry. Had great fun on the lake with the canoe. This exceptional property is possibly the best Beechworth has to offer. As one of the more premium holiday rentals for larger groups, this renovation and major addition was designed with holiday makers in mind.
There are 2 TV/ living areas - both with cosy wood fires, perfect for putting the kids in their own space to watch Netflix. Kayaks and hand lines for fishing are available for use as well as noodles to float in the lake on. It's an easy 10 min walk into town (around 1km), but once you get to the lake house you wont want to leave!

The Lake House is a wonderful holiday home in arguably the best preserved historic town of Victoria (and Australia?). Beautiful views over the lake from the deck, very complete kitchen en nicely appointed bedrooms. It even has an extra second living for the kids. We were even dreaming of it, how it would be as our own home ;-).
Ideal for 6-8 persons, so great for a large family or bring the grandparents! Highly recommended. Free use of canoes is great, as is the very large trampoline in the garden. We hope to be back someday!

We stayed at the Lakehouse with friends for a week in January. The Lakehouse has the most stunning view of Lake Sambell. The house has everything you need. With 3 kids we greatly valued the backyard, canoes and kids retreat. The bath in the main bathroom is gorgeous for unwinding. We enjoyed cooking and having BBQs on the deck. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return one day.
