Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two elves with 7&5 year olds and lots of luggage and despite the city CBD view kitchen with amenities this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks we were in Melbourne

Off the chain hotel. It feels like my own private apartment with ALL AMENITIES. I love my view too. The staff is very knowledgeable and great at giving you a map and explaining all there is to offer in the area. The icing on the cake is this hotel is tailored towards musicians, artists, singers, etc. I will stay here any and every time I'm in Melbourne.

I should preface this review by saying that I am a long term guest at this particular Mantra. I've stayed at many and as a hotel this place is in a convenient location, the people are quite accommodating and lovely, and the rooms have just what you need for a long or short stay. However, the only word of caution I would share is to not eat at this hotel. I can decide if the chef is terrible, the quality of the food they buy us bad, or if it's a combination of both.
The breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from but for $22 I would expect more. There are far too many great places
