Our skewers are prepared in-house daily and cooked over special Binchoutan (white charcoal). While our chefs are known to produce some of the most tasty and succulent meat dishes, both venues also create a range of incredible vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Birds' nests are a marvel of nature. Twigs and sticks delicately crafted into a sanctuary for the most fragile of cargo. The same skill and artfistry of is evident at Bird's Nest, the restaurant. The quail eggs entrée is the perfect example. Bite-sized explosions of flavour, with mustard and soy balancing the rich, creamy yolks. They sat in a sauce that I couldn't resist slurping from the bowl. Pardon the cliché, but the wagyu steak really did melt in our mouths. The winner for me was the wombok salad. The crunch of the Chinese cabbage and crispy garlic against the chewy, salty bonito flakes

Not much yakitori place around. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants!
It’s a must go place, always on my night out list or the place I will bring my friends to try if they never been before. Reasonable price, good for sharing or a date night. Love the Charcoal smell and taste!! Little secret - book the time after they open one hour then you will be sure to get enough charcoal flavor and the right heat for your skewers !
Must try Negima and Tori chasuke I’m serious! You won’t regret! Also there are so many palm wine choices 😍 Been here so many times. I’m just in love with this

They have so many kind of Sake list it was impressive! If you want to feel real Japanese mood, you should go this place. Best Japanese skewer restaurant in Brisbane and also sake list is amazing! We had 2 kinds of sake, one cloudy warm sake and plum based sake(choya)that’s my favorite. All of the sake was really nice! They made my night🙂 Vintage Sake was really strong and rich flavors. I’ll definitely order again. Food was really nice. They cook food in open kitchen. we can see them easily. All skewers were so nice it goes well with sake.

THE BEST yakitori in town for sure! First time dined in after renovation. great table service and staff are so friendly! Everything was so delicious and fresh. Plum wine tasting set goes well with all skewers. Japanese stir fried noodles were my favorite - so rich in flavor! Definitely will come back and highly recommend to everyone!

Booked for dinner tonight for my daughters birthday s she loves Japanese food. Food sporadic to be served and an hour after our order was taken and my family had finished eating, I was advised no beef brisket, so no food for me just cold rice served half an hour earlier. Not one to write reviews, but so disappointed, will not be returning. Seemed not enough staff and alot of confusion.
