Had a great evening and will be back next time we are in the area.
Was a last minute decision to choose Goldfish for dinner. They quickly adjusted the seat selection due to me being on crutches and we got a great table out on the patio.
They do warn that the meals are for sharing but we figured we would go with trio of dips with bread as a starter then move on to a nice main. However we had to change this as the dips were huge and the bread plentiful.
Ended up going for a few side dishes and a lot of cocktails.
Everything was yummy and exceeded our expectations.
Can’t wait to return!

I have had the pleasure of dining at the Goldfish restaurant many times over the last 5 years, and so too have my staff, clients, and family. I had hoped to do so again since I am in Australia once more.
However upon arriving for my booking with my wife, I was informed that I would not be allowed to enter now as the owners of the restaurant will only allow "fully vaccinated" patrons; a unique choice in the region to be sure.
While the staff did greatly apologise for the policy their employer had put in place, and of course it is not their fault this has been instituted, it does mean that we will

No a frequent reviewer, but when an experience is so bad, I feel the need to let the public know.
Ordered a garlic prawn pizza without chilli…yes it was full of lip burning tastelessness. The worst part was the first cheese pizza we ordered, it was burnt to a crisp. Took it back to the kitchen myself and they agreed it was way over cooked. Waited a further 30 mins for a replacement cheese pizza, guess what…it was even more burnt than the first (pic of second pizza). Kids didn’t want it and it all went in the rubbish.
Don’t waste a night here, make sure you book ahead for the quality restaurants

My wife and I recently dined at Goldfish. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Really the only disappointment was the fact we were able to make an 8pm reservation to only be advised upon arrival the kitchen closes at 8.30pm and we will need to make our decisions quickly. This did not allow for a relaxed dinner in this lovely place. Don't stray away from Goldfish, just choose an earlier booking time and I am sure you will enjoy your experience.

Great restaurant with awesome cocktails! We had the seafood platter, definitely needed a bigger table and more than 1 lemon for sure! Staff was very accomodating and it was very busy on a Thursday night when we got there but we booked so that was a good idea. Dessert took a bit long to come out and it was good

Goldfish is picturesque (located in the Roche estate) but there wasn't much else to enjoy here. The staff were friendly and service was quick but food was expensive and very disappointing.
I tried the Mediterranean lamb ($80 main for 2 people) and it was completely tasteless. The lamb didn't even have any salt on it. The cauliflower and sauce the lamb came on were also completely flavourless.

Nice wholesome feel inside the restaurant. They have music on the Saturday’s after 8:30pm. The food portions are really big and enough to eat with multiple people. The food was really good especially the pork ribs if you love spice. The fish tacos also packed heaps of flavour. Will definetly be heading back to the goldfish on our next visit. If you book make sure you book inside during the winter because it can get really cold in their outdoor seating area.
