Services
At Engadine Veterinary Hospital we offer a comprehensive range of services, superior care, and leading-edge technology and treatment options. As Engadine's trusted veterinary hospital for more than 50 years, we appreciate the importance of delivering care in a way that builds trust and fosters enduring relationships.
Sylvania Vet Hospital is open until 11pm weekdays and 8pm weekends. After these times please contact the Animal Referal Hospital Homebush which is open 24 hours. We're on the western side of Princes Hwy, therefore if you're approaching from the south we're on the left. There is an access road that runs parallel to the Princes Hwy.
We encourage all puppies to enrol in a class shortly after the first vaccination from 8-16 weeks of age as this is considered the critical socialisation period of a puppy's life. Puppy Preschools are specifically designed behaviour and training classes for dogs between 8 - 16 weeks of age.

During this critical stage in your puppy's life it is essential that they are exposed to a variety of experiences including different sounds, meeting lots of different people, and socialising with other puppies of all different sizes and behaviours. For some puppies, missing this "window of opportunity" can lead to a life of anxiety and fear.

Critical: Quality, Reliability
For any surgical matter I would strongly recommend that you go to a specialist. My 4 year old Lab had surgery here for a torn cruciate ligament, she still has a limp and the specialists say the only thing that could help her would be a complete knee replacement.
