DO NOT BOOK HERE!
Stayed here on our wedding night, after heading off on our honeymoon they took an additional $600 out of my account rendering us stuck while on our holiday. I called as soon as i found out and whoever was on the phone would not listen to anything I said, talked over me the entire time and then said it would be released back in 5-7 days. Totally unacceptable and have not had a response to TWO emails since. A honeymoon should be a once in a lifetime opportunity and we had this taken away.
I know there are two sides to every story but this is exactly what took place. As someone

Nice room high floor, bath tiles need replacing some missing in need of repair. Be warned after telling us they hold $50 on your credit card, they held $587 for over a week, we complained nobody called back we called 3 times and they just said its the system and they couldnt do anything about it. SO FIX YOUR SYSTEM, very angry.

The room we were in was a bit run down.
Overnight staff was terrible, ordered room service and toothbrushes and the food never came or was ordered. Toothbrushes came after complaining after over an hour.
Staff were lovely in the morning and apologised and even waved the mini bar costs due to the screw around however it did dampen the experience.

Not up to their usual standard.Could be due to post Covid staff issues, specifically numbers & inexperienced new staff. Room was spacious and the bar was well priced at Happy Hour

Amora has doubled charged me for my stay, they are not willing to refund and keep giving me the run around blaming a new system as the error. The manager is quite rude and told me to write a complaint so her boss finally does something as this is a common issue and upper management do nothing. No help at all! Ignoring my emails, won’t return calls. Would not recommend…

In comparison to other hotels in Sydney for similar prices this place would be poor. Simply too outdated and has a dead vibe. The bartender was apparently not a bartender… would be a great 2000’s themed hotel. Had someone opening the doors yet the service to check in didn’t match. Management don’t see motivated to make it good.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of Sydney's CBD a few blocks from The Rocks on a small side street is the Amora Hotel. A five-star-rated hotel complete with doorman, concierge and reception, marble floors, comfortable sitting area and bar. There is an indoor swimming pool with hot tub located on the third floor, a restaurant on the second floor, and reception rooms in the first. I arrived here with my husband around 10 am. For $55, we were able to check-in early and go to our corner room on the executive level, 34. Lovely city views, including from the bathroom- fitted with large bathtub

I had a great experience at the Amora Hotel! We arrived at around 7am and somehow they were able to get us into a room in advance of check-in which was so nice after a night of flying. The front desk was super helpful, though the concierge didn't provide the best advice in my opinion. the room was great - no complaints and we got it at a great price! The location was also perfect for being able to walk just about anywhere.

I'd landed in Sydney around 6PM on Sunday, March 17, 2019 and was grateful that a friend of a friend picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney. The ride from the airport to the hotel was around 20 minutes or so considering there was no traffic at that time of the night. Most likely folks were resting to get back to work the next day.

After checking into the hotel, I'd immediately took a quick shower and was on my way to scope out the city. The location of Amora hotel is in the middle of Sydney's Central Business District (CBD) and believe it

Absolutely amazing! As one of the best hotels in the CBD, it's got a reputation to maintain; and so it does. From the moment you walk in the doors (which are so kindly opened for you), you can feel yourself being enveloped in luxury.

Don't be put off by the renovations, you will still receive the 5 star treatment you expect from an establishment of this caliber. The staff here will make you feel like royalty, opening doors for you where they can, making suggestions of what's good on the menu and even recommendations as to what in house activities are suited to you.

Normally there

Stayed here for 20 nights and got 1 night free when booking through Hotels.com, woo! Due to my long stay, the hotel was quite generous to upgrade my room from a King size room to a King bed suite!!! What an upgrade!

This hotel is sort of in a random area next to George St (the place to be when in Sydney!), but I enjoyed the location since it was somewhat secluded... But was a bit inconvenient for Ubers to pick up people from this area since during the time (August 2016) George St was under major construction.

This hotel has different levels with various amenities such as bars, restaurants, gym

Stayed here for about 5 days following a conference I was attending in Sydney. The hotel and staff were very accommodating and I was very pleased with my stay here. With my stay I was granted access to the breakfast and bar lounge which had an great selection for breakfast and early evening drinks. I found myself stopping here before dinner almost every day.

The room and amenities were top notch and I was very pleased with the overall experience. In comparison to other hotels in the area, my room was bigger and more up to date for the price I paid.

Would recommend to anyone staying in the

Amora is situated in the heart of the CBD and has the potential to be a beautiful 5 star hotel. Overall, the hotel common areas and rooms are gorgeous although some views are better than others- my Mother and I requested to switch rooms after our first one looked directly into an office building.

If you are staying here with friends be aware that the hotel does not offer double rooms with King or Queen beds, only singles, which is a little disappointing considering it is meant to be a 5 star establishment. However, the beds are super comfortable AND it comes with a Pillow Menu... as in- you can

Centrally located in the Central Business District just steps away from the Wynyard station. My 19th story corner room had obstructed views of the Sydney Harbour, but lacked a view of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. The staff were attentive and friendly. The room la led adequate lighting, made more puzzling by a funky central led controlled lighting system. The breakfast buffet at the restaurant costs AUS $37, though they offer a concession at AUS $20 if you request a breakfast ticket at the reception by 23:00. (You're better off heading down the street to the food court
