With our small group training sessions, combine functional fitness & weight training in a simple, friendly space. Our small group training sessions are unique to MyGym - you do all the work, without any machines! Focusing on full body movements aimed to recruit as many muscles as possible, every training session is different! Our sessions are cheaper than one-on-one personal training, but you can expect similar benefits. Located inside our partner gym Hiscoes on Crown St, in the heart of Surry Hills.

The best way to try MyGym is to see for yourself. Get access to the full MyGym experience with unlimited small group training and access to our fully equipped gym for two weeks for $55. During your two week trial, you will have full access to the gyms amenities and also have the option to trial Hiscoes fitness classes & team training.
MyGym Small Group Training sessions are 45mins. We, like you, have lives outside the gym and know that you don't want to spend all day here so we try and make our sessions short and to the point so you get the most value for your time spent with us. We recommend attending at least one strength session first, as these sessions aren't as fast-paced a xtraining and we can get a good idea what your fitness and strength levels are like.
You don't need to have been exercising for a long time to take part in our sessions. People who haven't exercised much before (or for a long time) will benefit from the instruction and the friendly atmosphere. We know it's not fun getting into exercise but we've been there too (Both Mac and Lynsey used to be big drinkers and smokers - and weigh 10-15kgs more than they do now) so we get it.
You should do the challenge if you are looking for some added motivation, are ready to put in some time and effort and want to hit some fitness goals! First you register your interest by shooting us an email and make sure you are signed up for unlimited weekly sessions.
Our aim is for you to be able to lift heavier weights by the end of the challenge, so we need you to complete all your weight-training workouts PLUS a long slow cardio session AND a stretch session each week along with the weekly challeng that we'll send to you.If you don't do it in the gym with us you need to post a pic and your points request to the facebook group.

I have been doing MyGym for a few years now, and it never gets dull! Everyday is a bit different which keeps it interesting. It's also very motivating to have the trainer there and your peers in the group encouraging you along. Great for any age or fitness level. Lynsey, Mac and the team will ask you what your experience is, what you're after, and what you're comfortable doing and then offer exercises and support to help you.

MY GYM is a great way to get fit and stay that way in an environment that accepts you for your level of fitness. The small class size is perfect because you get lots of one on one time, whether you're new and need to learn the techniques, or experienced and need pushing to the next level.
Its got a friendly community that makes you feel welcome but also challenges you.
To keep you interested, the exercises are always varied, but always leave you exhausted.
I first went about a year ago, and have kept coming back.
I can't recommend it enough.

Dragging myself to the gym is hard enough without the additional scrutiny you find in some of the bigger fitness centres in the city. Situated close to the new Channel 7/Pacific Magazines building, and a 10 minute walk from both Redfern and Erskineville stations, we find a cosy little alternative where you don't have to feel self-conscious.
