Book at 11:52 pm 17/01/22 the room was advertised as 139 but turns out to be 170. It’s all good since it’s CHEAP!!! Gone late for dinner and a few drinks with mates I’m from Brisbane so better have a rest instead of going back. Arrived at the place at 2am there were 2 phone numbers that was posted on the door of the office there’s an intercom but not working tried to call and leave a msg till my battery died end up wasting my time for an hour before decided to go back to Brisbane lucky not so tipsy but really tired. I demand a refund though the room cannot be cancelled.

Veey poor. Main light wasn't working. the bathroom window was stupidly low for just next to a toilet. Bathroom tap leaked constantly. Clock in the living room was far too noisy. Sign missing on the outside for one of the rooms.
But the worst thing about the visit was the customer service. They refused to provide a refund or transfer to a different booking date (this is not commensurate with ACL) for a cancellation due to a bereavement in my partner's family (hence we thought I should go so that at least we would get our money's worth - although it meant that I could not attend the funeral).

This was absolute putrid! We stayed for 10 minutes and I’m allergic to mould! I broke out in hives almost instantly, struggled to breath and the staff on the phone spoke with attitude as to if I was being a princess about it all! I live on property and I sleep in a swag 10 days at a time I can handle roughing it! But when you pay that much for something which isn’t cheap at all, you’d expect up keep in them. I lifted a blanket from the cupboard that was crazy heavy and realised there was no way that it had ever been washed as it was brown/yellow under neath! Never ever stay at this place

Reasonably cheap but facilities weren't great. Soap holder in the shower was broken. No tongue on the bedroom door to shut it. Fridge door could open by itself. Missing a lot of springs in foldout sofa. No cable TV and have to pay $5 extra per day to use air con. Not enough chairs or crockery and cutlery for 4 people.

Nice and quiet, within a short walk to Cavill Mall and Chevron Island shops. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The queen bed was comfortable. The outdoor area led to the pool which was not used as it was cooler weather. The apartment was equipped with a stove, microwave oven, full size fridge, kettle and all cooking equipment. A large TV, air-conditioning and ceiling fans are also provided. The wifi was a problem, connecting but with no internet access.

Place was very close to Surfers Paradise, and technically had everything they advertise, but beware that everything advertised is going to be of C- quality. For example, the internet is free up until 100mb a day (pay for more, but the slowest ever, don’t do it!), ceiling fans were loud and dials messed up, AC is $5 per night, has a full kitchen with an oven (but no oven gloves, and dirty knives so blunt they can’t even cut onions). Laundry works great sans the rusty clothes horse, so at the end of the day if you are staying for a short period it is bang for buck but do not expect more than

Very affordable. Short walk to the Surfers Paradise beach, trams and shopping. Great having a supermarket so close when you have a kitchen in your unit, although we were disappointed by the small size of the pots provided. Lovely to have a swim in the pool after a days sight seeing. Disappointed by the extra charges, $5/night for air-conditioning (we made do with fans and open windows), $5/night for sheets on the sofa bed is a rip off $1-2 would be more reasonable if there has to be a charge at all.

Can't say I'm able to compare it to any other similar accommodation however my stay was fine. Property is as advertised, 3.5 stars - nothing special but you get what you pay for so it's not bad bank for buck value. Only 10 minute walk from everything. Bed was nice and firm, clean linen and towels. Not sure about other units but mine was small, sofa bed was old and uncomfortable. Big balcony. Although they are suppose to charge $5 per night if you use a/c, I didn't get charged, maybe cause I stayed 9 nights, I don't know. Free garage parking. No nasty surprises so that's always good.

An all round average experience. The room itself is extremely unexciting but gets extra points for a balcony. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants so a bonus there too.

Service, room condition and facilities get a solid C-.

No desk to work at in the room itself but the apartment does include a small dining table which does the job just fine and there's also a small table on the balcony. Reception is only open from 9 to 5pm. So not the best choice for business travel (I'll know for next time!).

I would normally give this place 3 stars but they charge $5/night extra
