Horrible room, rude manager and maintainance staff. At $160 a night, room has old and very stained carpet that is ripped up at the corners, exposing sharp nails, maintained guy tried to suggest we had done this and it was our fault... the toilet has running water noise next to bedroom, TV is very old and outdated, no capability for netflix or phone connection. Asked for a refund and was flat out rudely refused with no apology or compassion and for that price there shouldn't be a single problem...

Awesome place to stay, very spacious, would have liked more locks on the front door especially with a toddler in tow as it could be accessed easily and plus being on the third floor the risk was too high. We had a 2bdrm and 1 bathroom apartment and it was just the right size for us. The area was very close to Smithfield shopping Centre/Mall a bit of drive to the main city centre though, otherwise if you're for a place to unwind, close to the beach and away from the hustle and bustle, Blue Lagoon Resort is your spot.

Simply awesome accommodation. I booked the accommodation in June 2021 so it was a long way from Xmas but took a risk as ScoMo said the borders would be open. First time to Cairns & FNQ so it was all a new experience. I used booking.com to make the booking & I was so hesitant since I got totally trashed in 2020 Covid situation but I had 14 days out from the accommodation start date to cancel with full refund. After making booking I made email contact with Mandy in the office as I had no idea how the layout of the Resort was & if upstairs, may partner has

The staff were so helpful and kind, I arrived earlier than check in time, the room was not ready, and I needed to work and plug into power. They moved a table found an extension cord. I was able to set up my phone and laptop. Do all the back to back meetings. I ordered the most amazingly delicious spicy sweet potato fritters with avocado and coriander, this was a taste sensation. Not too spicy just right. Must love coriander, which I do. Totally recommend the food and coffee. Kindness and taste.

This place was amazing. Nothing not to like about this place. It was quiet relaxing and the room was beautiful. A/C’s in every room never felt uncomfortable or to hot. And the kitchen had all the the things you would need. The pool area was great. It was so big and the view of the lake was amazing. The big barbecue space was handy as well. Staff were nice and the reception had all the flyers for all the things you could experience at this beautiful getaway. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Cairns.

Nice rooms with a spacious living area. Nice views and the pool was immaculately clean. Plenty of nearby cuisine such as Italian, seafood, asian and Greek. Bar and Grill was very well priced. Kitchen is well equipped for those being self sufficient. 5 min walking distance to beach and convenience store. Would definitely stay here again.
