Our huge swimming pool has been tailor made to work in with the layout of the Resort. The enormous waterfall adds that tropical touch while the pools sectional design means you can swim off with that special someone and find privacy away from the other guests. We have landscaped the pool area with rocks and boulders and a cool grassy area where you can just lie back and relax.

Considering the age of this resort, it still has lots of nice features, eg, big pool & spa, games facility, spotless BBQ area, free book lending library, and reception staff that couldnt be more obliging and helpful.
(Thank you John & Pili)
But its about time the Body Corp got their heads out of their 'profit legers' and approved some necessary repairs in some of the units.
Still value for money in a top tourist town.

Horrible Experience. Very Unprofessional Business. It was quite confusing about not being able to book for 1 or 2 nights. Had to pay 4 nights upfront. Sitting on the balcony, I inhaled smoke from downstairs, while I tried having my morning tea. It was uncomfortable. Long-term residents who are homeless or unemployed lived at the hotel. I didn't feel very safe. When I had to move rooms, my floor and balcony was filthy, as I had black feet. I enquired about the cleaning which caused hugh conflict and in the end, I got the mop and cleaned my own room, which I paid for. The Manager didn't care how

Service is great and prices are more than affordable the atmosphere around the place is magnificent, with beautiful gardens surrounding to add to the beauty. The only bad thing I'd have to say is the neighbours who constantly sit outside their units and play loud music. Also making it awkward to walk to my own unit. Constantly having to put up with racist remarks and people with no respect for their neighbours. Apart from that it's a great place. Love staying here.

Stayed twice now within the space of the last 3 months, first stay for 5 weeks current stay for 2 weeks and can’t speak highly enough of the place.
Clean, quiet rooms, peaceful environment, nice pool, very friendly staff and extra compliments to the young lady at reception, extraordinarily friendly and helpful, the place is a bargain that I’ll stay at every time I’m in Cairns for work now that I’ve discovered it.

Rooms are dusty. Bed sheets are dirty. Rooms having very old interiors. Bathroom is smelly and dusty. My booking was for 5 days in last July. Had a miserable stay there. There is a reception (available only for few hours a day) and not helpful at all.
Arm chair in the room is full of dust (attached pics)

Stayed there 3 weeks July early August 2018.
Was just what I wanted. Price reasonable, room clean with comfortable double bed. Staff very friendly. Locked myself out twice outside office hours. Staff came to help very quickly. No charge. Car park right outside my door. Nice small sitting area out front with sunny aspect.
Cleaned once a week. Did a lot of research before booking. I found this
best value in the area. You need a car anyway as most tourist attractions are outside Cairns CBD. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation for your stay in Cairns I would recommend this place

Perfectly fine budget accommodation. AC works, bed is comfortable, pool is clean and wet. Management seems responsive to guest issues. Room did have some maintenance issues, but you get what you pay for.

It was a nice resort and had good facilities although the bed was as hard as a rock. We had been sleeping on a thin mattress for two weeks in a roof top tent and by the end of my stay here I was looking more forward to sleeping in the roof top again than on that bed. Our friends that we also had staying in the same resort where charged for a rip in the curtain that was previously there when we checked in. The place smelt of smoke and there where chalk drawings all over the footpath.
