Do not book!!! These people are the most careless, inconsiderate people that I’ve spoken to in a customer service role. No compassion or empathy, just attitude.
I had to cancel my booking 24hours before my check in. This was due to one member from our group testing positive to covid a day before our flight and the rest of us live in the same household so therefor by LAW needed to self isolate.
The two people I spoke to brushed me off, cut me off and did not once express any concern for my situation, they went straight to “we don’t do refunds or credits unfortunately”. Furthermore went

Never got to stay. Unfortunately, due to covid had to cancel booking. Were given 6 months to rebook. As we have been unable to leave the state due to border restrictions asked if we could rebook for a few weeks over the 6 months limit as had to organise other hotels and air flights. No we could not, and have lost our money. When all of our other hotels plus airlines have been much more generous, some until end of 2022 , we felt this was very poor customer service.

Was pleasantly surprised with this place, having low expectations. The 1 bed apartment that I had was very roomy for 2 people, and had all the amenities you need for a stay. The rooms are a little outdated, but still comfy and functional. The air conditioning unit was very loud though even on 'low', not sure if just old or broken. And as the unit is in the living room it doesn't quite reach the bedroom so it wasn't as cold at night as I would have liked. Reception isn't 24 hours here, and if you're going on boat trips then it's hard to ever catch anyone but I emailed and they replied very quickly

Fabulous place to stay at while in Cairns. Great Kitchen bathroom and bedroom 2 Tvs one in bedroom. Lots of electronic gear such as Curtains fans and lights with dimmers. 1 second to pool if you are om bottom room. Excellent place to stay. We only had to get toilet fixed and was fixed. Overall great staff and friendly.
