Born and raised in Fremantle close to Perth in Western Australia, Wayne has been a resident in Palm Cove since 2008 and apart of the Reef House Team as General Manager for 6 years.

Our stay at the reef house was nothing short of amazing.
From the moment we arrived to the hotel we felt happiness all around the place. People working here genuinely care about each guest which is very rare to find these days. During our stay, nothing was too much to ask. Team at the reception were going above and beyond to help us organise trips, recommended places to visit, to eat and to explore. Team in the restaurant was also amazing. We have joined their cocktail class and wine class multiple times and each time we had great fun. This place is a must to stay at

Thank you Reef House! We had a stay here in October for my partners birthday and we felt truly spoilt. The little touches and service made all the difference, the staff were incredibly kind and thoughful. There are probably a few small bits and bobs you'd notice seem a little dated but i'd take that for the service. We'll not hesitate to rebook here time and time again. Thank you!

We’ve been travelling Australia for the past year and this was by far the best accomodation experience we have EVER had, not only in Australia but in our lives. The staff were so incredible, they made sure we had the most fantastic stay and they it also felt like they were a family- always happy to be around each other. Would totally 100% recommend staying here when you visit palm cove!!

We stayed here for my honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. Cedric was so lovely and attentive, he added so much to our stay making us feel extra special during our honeymoon. The food was spectacular at the restaurant every time, and a beautiful setting. The pools, honesty bar, cocktail class are beautiful touches which we thoroughly enjoyed. If your looking for a luxury stay I 100% recommend Reef House- I can’t wait to return for our anniversary!

Worst experience of my entire life, just witnessed an adult treated so badly for having mask accidentally move on side during treatment, with face stuffed into the chair. I would highly recommend to stay away from this hotel and spa as staff who are responsible to run this premises are totally unprofessionally and they lack (basic) customer service skills. Not sure if that was racially driven or just out right bullish - words cannot describe the below par experience. Will never recommend this place.

The reef house is amazing ! I would recommend it to anyone wanting a fabulous stay in Palm Cove .
The staff are exceptional ... they are caring attentive and super friendly. The food is delicious and plentiful.

We really did love this place. Overall the location was great opp the beach. Food was a high standard. The resort has spacious rooms with kitchenettes for basic cooking. Cooking who wants to cook when so close to all the lovely eateries?? Reef house offers free yoga, water aerobics, use of bikes and fishing rods etc. Service was great but our first impressions weren't. Check in was 2. We arrived 1.45. We were the only ones checking in but had to wait not knowing where we could wait with our luggage. Why is there no seating in the reception area? 2.20 we got to our room. 2.30 we had booking for

What can I say, The Reef House was everything we were looking for plus more, from the location, the restaurant, the poolside sorbet to the staff there was nothing we could fault. We arrived well before the 2pm check in time and the reception staff were able to check us in early which was totally unexpected but something we truely appreciated. The staff went above and beyond what you would normally expect from hotel staff, there was always a friendly hello and they would always refer to you by name. A fantastic winter escape from Sydney’s cold weather. The rooms were well appointed, a vintage kinda feel which is very charming & cool. Literally across the road from the beach, staff are amazing, friendly and informed.the pools are great and heated at different temps which helps, free bikes to explore and well worth it, close to all other restaurants as well.
The RH restaurant was a 10/10 which was a surprise, food so so good and on point, we couldn’t put it down.
I would highly recommend and would come back to stay at RH on our next visit.
