This week some eager and sincere Yoga students ventured beyond the city boundary to enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Hepburn Springs and dive deep into a week of yoga inquiry (pictured above). We were all in agreement how fortunate it was to meet face to face in the midst of such uncertain times. Yogaha is centrally located and easily accessible by Public transport from all Bayside suburbs; including Caulfield, Elwood, Elsternwick, St Kilda, Brighton and Bentleigh. There is a range of parking within walking distance, check signposts as times differ from 1-4 hrs and all day parking. We are conveniently located by train close to Ripponlea Station, by Tram (Number 67) on St Kilda Rd/Brighton Rd and Bus.
An ongoing series of Early Morning Iyengar Yoga Intensives are offered at the Yogaha studio in Ripponlea, on the South side of Melbourne. Yoga Intensives help consolidate your practice in a fun, supportive and friendly environment. Intensive workshops are designed in a way to deepen your personal practice, establish a deeper level of commitment to the work and develop skill in relaxation to aesthetics, sensibilities and their application.
Yogaha are excited to be offering an Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training Program in Melbourne. The Teaching Program will help prepare applicants to sit for teacher certification thru the BKS Iyengar Yoga Association of Australia (BKSIYAA). This takes place at the Yogaha Studio in Ripponlea, in the St Kilda area of Melbourne and is conducted by James Bahuth - a Junior Intermediate III certified Iyengar Yoga teacher.
Our passionate yoga teachers are all Iyengar certified and collectively they have over four decades of teaching experience. All teachers maintain on-going Professional Development within the Iyengar tradition. James Bahuth has been working with people teaching Iyengar Yoga, Thai Massage and related Meditation Therapies for more than 25 years.
Her personal practice and teaching skills are being continuously developed and honed with the guidance of Peter Thomson, one of Australia's most experienced and respected Iyengar Yoga teachers. Jennifer also travels regularly to Pune to learn at the Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute and attends conventions and workshops organised by the Australian Iyengar Yoga Association.
