Hinterland Veterinary Surgery

Took my cockatiel to this vet. She has been very sick. I felt rushed by the vet and he gave me no opportunity to ask anything.. He gave me liquid antibiotics to administer via a syringe and wasn't even able to ask him how to do this. The receptionist told me to be careful feeding it to her via the syringe as it could go to her lungs. Now I've read the reviews and I read a man was given antibiotics to give to his chickens and that 1. Two chickens died from lung fluid and 2. Giving birds antibiotics via syringe is a waste of time? And caused death in his chickens? $195.00 later and after 5 days on

My boofy dog has being going to this vets for 11 years now .Dr Ross is best vet around and the staff are lovely girls .DrRoss has done about 5 operations and not one complication from it at all I recommend taking all pets to this place thank you......24,12 21... once again Dr Ross and his Lovely staff has given me my boofhead for one more Christmas. 12 and a half years now Ross has looked after my son on the number of different occasions my dog is quite excited when I mentioned doctor Ross's name thank you very much and Merry Christmas to all at Hinterland vet Nerang

Absolutely Amazing Vet Practice. Been going here for 13+ years. Would not take my animals anywhere else! Dr Ross is the most caring vet, and the vet nurses are always so lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have taken my pets there for a month
No one knows what happening in this vet.
I ask them to send my pet details to another vet had to contact them 3x to get done when done they had my pet down as a male when she was a female very UN PROFESSIONAL. When I rang them and let’s them know how unprofessional they are (without swearing) they hung up on me still havnt got my dogs info.
I wouldn’t recommend this vet to anyone look for another vet vet poor communication and don’t care about anything just money

This place is amazing, I take my pet rats here and Dr Ross is so so knowledgeable on rats and always makes me feel at ease. with the care they provide I don’t like going to any other vet unless I have to

I took my little dog to a different vet around the area in a hurry when we usually see Dr Ross, only to be told shes fine and some pain relief was given and charging big $$$$.
Her behaviour had not been the same after seeing them and knew something wasn’t right...
With no improvement, only getting worse, the Team at Hinterland and Dr Ross managed to fit her in within an hour.
With a thorough consult and the beautiful nurses there, the outcome made a lot more sense.
Cannot recommend these guys enough🐾
