My name is Daniel Donaldson and I am a Personal Trainer who is qualified as a Master Trainer from the Australian Institute of Fitness and registered with Fitness Australia. I use this knowledge, plus what I have learnt in my own weight loss hourney of losing over 70kg, to help my clients reach their goals.

I am a fun, easy going trainer who has a background in sports, running and boxing. I was the ultimate couch potato after losing some vision and using illness as an excuse. I became a personal trainer after losing 65kg and falling in love with the healthy and fit lifestyle that I now lead. I have done this whilst being low-vision impaired and suffering from a once crippling arthritis.

Training by yourself can be difficult. It can be hard to get motivated and to push yourself hard enough to get those big results. A 1-on-1 Personal Training session can save you time by being more time effective than you would be by exercising on your own. The term Personal Trainer means having that personal, custom experience.
A body composition scan goes beyond your weight and breaks your body down into the four main components which contribute to your total body weight: fat, bone, muscle and water. If you are measuring yourself against changes you see in your weight when you step on a scale, you aren't able to determine if these changes are due to an increase (or decrease) in fat, or in muscle.

Dan is the best trainer I've ever worked with. He tailors each workout with your needs and limits in mind. Dan's a genuinely cool guy who's easy to get along with, it's like working out with a friend who pushes you to do better!

I honestly cannot speak more highly of Dan. I’ve had a LOT of trainers over the years and Dan has been by far the very best!
In terms of his training, he has created a lot of fun, yet challenging, well planned sessions that meet my goals each time. He’s put me through HIIT Training, Strength training, lifting technique, boxing, Pilates, cardio workouts - you name it, he’s delivered every time with my goals in mind! I know when I come to the gym I’m going to have a good laugh and feel the burn that gets results. His groups are innovative, fun and offer a different take on traditional group

I have been working with Dan for nearly two years, and I am so glad I started with him at his small and personal studio gym. Having been to sooo many gyms and PT’s, and having even worked in gyms, I couldn’t find anything that worked for me. I never really consistently stuck to anything. But Dan is great, with small sessions or sometimes just me which means very personal and tailored solutions. I have now been consistently attending for nearly two years because it doesn’t feel like a chore, it is something I enjoy and feel I get benefit from. Thanks Dan !!

I've been going to Dan for a few years now, initially to do a 12 week challenge and things went so well that I have just kept coming back! A few things that set Dan apart from other trainers (for me at least) are his positivity and genuine caring attitude towards his clients. He encourages me to push things a little further without feeling pressured and I always feel safe and supported in all my work outs. He is really flexible with times too which is good for those who do shift work (like me). Another great thing about training with Dan is the affordability! He has lots of different packages

I have been training with Dan for about 4 months and feel stronger, fitter, healthier and happier than ever before. Dan is committed to his clients and will always be on time and prepared so no time is wasted. He will adjust the sessions to personally fit your goals, current fitness and how you enjoy to work out. The Metafit classes are a real challenge but excellent to improve strength and cardio!

I've learnt a lot about strength training and fitness from Dan. From the results I am seeing/feeling and Dan's supportive and enthusiastic approach, I actually look forward to my gym sessions and enjoy the challenge of any workout Dan has planned. Can't recommend Dan enough.

I met Dan just before Easter this year after a long search for someone to help me out of my funk. I was exhausted. I'd had a few health issues and I really, just wanted to feel healthier so I could get more out of my day.
After training with Dan for the last few months I've gained strength, stamina and, despite the crazy early mornings, so much more energy
plus the bonus of being back in my healthy weight range for the first time since my daughter before was born almost 5 years ago!
I'm feeling fitter and more confident now than I have in a long time and I can't thank Dan enough. His support

Dan is amazing at his job really listen and wants to help his clients achieve the best they can. Dan has been on his own weight loss journey so he knows and understand how hard it is. If you come in to the gym with an injury he will create a workout that wont use that part of your body. Im so glad i gave training with dan a go. I had never done any form of exercise before i started with him.

Every personal trainer I've dealt with has been brought up with a love for sport and is naturally lean. which has led them to just fall into the job. They push you really hard, ask you to stick to strict diets and just tell you to try harder if you fail. Some people don't respond to that well and I am one of them. Dan on the other hand has been through the struggle, starting from being overweight, having arthritis and rising to where he is today; a fit strong and healthy personal trainer. He is great at supporting his clients and never pushes them further than he needs to. I would strongly recommend
