My wife was greeted with a most ghastly welcome, she was intimidated, belittled and shamed for not responding to an email (bed configuration not that we cared). Management has zero customer respect and understanding. The guest house is very run down and leaves a lot to be desired. You can not negotiate with a narcist choose your accommodation wisely.

Lilydale Guest House is a delightful old Queenslander with a homely and restful atmosphere. It is exactly what I had hoped to find. The host Jeanette was helpful and accomodating for individual requests. We enjoyed sitting around chatting with other guests. Clean rooms, quirky layouts and delightful decorating touches, made it so different to a stay in than the usual drear hotel. It was a great treat to be allowed to stay with a dog.

My Partner and I stayed at Lily Bank for a week.
We were very Impressed with Our stay there.
We were made very Welcome by the Manager Jeanette and nothing was a Problem.
She goes over and beyond to help in Any way and it felt like We were staying with Family.
I truly hope the Owners realise what a True Gem they have in Her.

My partner and I arrived late after our flight to find all the windows and double door opened as well as the lights on. Thus we were greeted by a swarm of insects flying around the lights and a massive cockroach entering the living area. Not a great welcome.Thankfully the bedroom lights were off but we found animal droppings on the dressing table. The decor needs an upgrade and the breakfast was very basic. The bed was comfortable and the pool looked inviting. I think there is a lot of potential here but at the moment it is not a 4 star experience.

We stayed 2 nights on the ground floor looking out at the pool and garden. Huge room and bathroom. Extremely clean and the provided breakfast is fabulous; certainly more than anticipated. It was wonderful to be able to stay somewhere that was happy to accommodate our dogs. Thanks Debbie, we will be back.

What a fantastic B&B! I loved the hostess, she was so kind and accommodating. Our flight arrived at 06:00, we contacted our hostess and she let us stay and check in early once the room was ready at 10:00. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, local fruit, homemade yogurt, toast of any kind... The patio area has a nice relaxing pool with an elephant fountain, and a lovely tree frog named Gary!

This may be the first B&B I've stayed at that actually had prepared breakfasts for the guests. You have some fruit, breads, butters, and jams to select from and the owner gets up and fixes bowls of porridge with yogurt and other goodies. Plus juices, tea, and coffee. She was also very accommodating, calling us cabs when needed and answering questions. The rooms were spacious and clean. I loved the sign for Gary the tree frog. My husband and I searched for him to no avail but in the process spotted a lot of geckos. We ended up eating at both nearby restaurants during our stay and it was a very pleasant
