Our Principal Practitioner, Dr Stragalinos graduated from Melbourne University in 1995. He trained at various hospitals and clinics in Melbourne and country Victoria prior to obtaining his Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

His special interests include Paediatrics, Gynaecology and pregnancy shared-care and Men's Health. He has two young boys who keep him busy when he is not working and he is also an avid tennis fan.

Services
Station Square Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. We bulk-bill Pensioners, Commonwealth Senior Health Care Card Holders, Health Care Card holders, DVA Card holders and Children under 16 who have a valid Medicare Card. The fees below are indicative of private charges in the practice and patients should be aware that individual doctors may bill at different rates.
At Station Square Medical Centre, one of our team members will ring patients with urgent or non-urgent results that require review with the doctor, in order to book an appointment. If you do not hear from us, kindly phone our clinic to check if your results have been received, they are usually available 3 days after having the test.
For after hours medical attention you may contact the National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25 (13 SICK) to arrange a Locum Doctor to attend your home. This service is bulk-billed. If you ring Station Square Medical Centre outside of our operating hours, your call will be automatically diverted to the National Home Doctor Service.

I am so glad I have finally found a fantastic GP in Melbourne. Dr Hussein Torahi was professional, knowledgable, and most of all caring. He was super patient in addressing my concerns/questions and I left the clinic feeling I couldn't have asked for a better health care experience. The receptionist was nice and friendly too, she squeezed me in last minute which was kind of her. This is my chosen clinic in Oakleigh now!

Caring doctors who dedicate their time for patients needs. Friendly and helpful reception staff who go beyond and above to help you with all patients enquiries. The waiting time can be a little bit longer than normal, but only because doctors spend the time with patients with needs and they are not in a hurry to get you out the door.

Good Medical practice.
I have been going to this practice for years. I always had good service from the owner Nick Stragalinos. because he is a good doctor he is popular and get very busy. So you need to plan and communicate with the reception so you do not have to wait too long. I believe there is a new Doctor started and would relief a lot of the pressure on Dr Nick.

My family has been going to Station Square Medical for the past 10 years since we moved to Oakleigh & we could not be happier with the service & quality of the doctors. Although they are in high demand they will always fit us in for urgent matters and I know that we are always given the best medical care. The team of receptionists are a pleasure to deal with and always friendly and caring.

My experience with station square medical centre proves that a negative star rating should be a option.
Had it not been for the convenience of it's location, my elderly parents would not have wasted the last 6 years of their lives, waiting patiently, at times up to 2 and a half hrs to see their doctor.
As for their professionalism, it's non existent.
From the moment you walk through the front door, you can't help but feel like you've entered a factory that turns over patients.
There is no attention to patients needs from head of reception to the phlebotomist.

I am always greeted by a lovely Receptionist with a smile. Very warm yet professional. The Doctor's are thorough, caring and listen to any concerns that I need to discuss. I have never felt rushed or pushed out the door. I cannot recommend this clinic more highly. Sincere thanks to the staff at Station Square Medical Center for your excellent service.

I had an appointment at this centre today for 2.20 pm. I arrived early for my appointment. I told the receptionist I was here for my 2.20 pm appointment. She did not say anything to me other than to take a seat. After waiting for over 25 minutes I asked her if it was going to be much longer. She replied "no". After 30 minutes of waiting I got up and left. I have been suffering from chronic sciatica for 3 weeks and I desperately need some pain relief from it. I was also facing a 4 & 1/2 hour drive to Horsham at 3.30 pm. It is very painful when I have to sit down for prolonged periods. If doctors
