Services
Como Pilates offers small class sizes (maximum 9) in a relaxed atmosphere allowing you to concentrate on you and your body. Whether you are attending Como Pilates for general fitness or rehabilitation you will soon start to feel the benefits. Gillian's vast experience in observing and diagnosing people's posture problems and treating back/neck pain allows her to include additional targeted, beneficial exercises.
Pilates is about improving strength and control of the 'core' abdominal muscles to achieve a more efficient whole-body functioning system. Accurate technique and positioning is the key to getting the most out of Pilates. This is only achievable with close monitoring by the instructor, as well as their feedback.
