From 2001-2008 I served as a Marine in the French Navy. I joined as a young and inexperienced sailor and left as a strong and skilled Petty Officer. This was a great achievement in my life and I have learnt so much about myself and many valuable life skills. Although I train hard myself I like to create an un-intimidating environment, which my clients enjoy working-out in.

I will work you hard to help you achieve your goals but I try to create programs that you will find fun and make you think of fitness as lifestyle and not a chore. Nothing is impossible - you just have to believe in yourself and put in the effort and commitment. From age 6, my brothers and I were playing a range of sports year-round.
Services
This includes access to all group fitness classes. At Grip and Grit Fitness we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and friendly environment. Prior to starting sessions we sit down and complete a comprehensive consultation where we chat about your goals, injury history and conduct a functional movement screening.
Conditioning aims to improve your energy systems & create a fitter, leaner you. During this class we will take advantage of interval layouts and intensities to ensure you become more efficient on our preferred conditioning equipment; rower, ski and assult bike. Our coaches will teach you how to squat, bench press & deadlift effectively and safely.
Julia focuses on enhancing performance and well-being through massage treatments specific to each person's need. Offering Remedial Massage and Myofascial Cupping; Julia caters for anyone needing to reduce pain, increasing range of motion, flexibility and improving strength.

Aimee is passionate about prescribing exercise to help improve her diverse clients' overall quality of life and physical function and believes in an evidence-based approach to exercise prescription, while understanding there is no 'one size fits all' solution.
Thanks Pascal for the past 9 months of training me for the army. He's been a very supportive, caring and knowledgeable trainer. Sessions were hard and painful which were what I needed. He was always engaged and kept it interesting. He genuinely interested in getting to know me, my goals and what I can/can't do and came up with a tailored plan instead of getting me to do a generic workout.

Awesome facilities, helpful staff and a great community atmosphere. I wasn’t sure about doing group classes but Pascal and the whole team were accommodating and friendly. The classes are intense but aren’t overboard. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to get into group fitness at a great modern gym.

I absolutely love the expert training, atmosphere and culture at Grip and Grind Fitness.
The culture is exceptional and Pascal is to be highly commended for his team of professional world class trainers, exercise scientists and physiologists he has attracted to the business.
Many of the coaches are elite athletes who have competed internationally so it’s very reassuring to receive precision training.
I want to make particular mention as well of my coach Aimee Fuller. Aimee is an accredited exercise physiologist who understands the female physique with a special interest in hormones and metabolism

Grip & Grit hands down has one of the best gym communities in the area. The workouts are challenging and varied, but it's the energetic trainers and encouragement from long-term members that make me love it most! I especially love starting my weekend with the Saturday morning class followed by a coffee with the ever-growing gang.

Grip and Grit is a great local gym with an awesome vibe. The programming for the group classes is really well done and I've made noticeable changes to my strength and conditioning (through regular testing) over the 9 months I've been going.
It's very inclusive and a fun place to train!

When I first started training with Pascal at Grip and Grit I was recovering from a frozen shoulder, and hadn’t trained for years.
That was two and a half years ago. Since then Pascal has helped me get strong enough to do the hiking I want to do. I’m now working towards an ambitious hiking goal with his help.
He’s great at developing a program for each person’s unique goals, and adapting based on their strengths or injuries.
He has created a lovely welcoming culture at Grip and Grit, where everyone feels like they belong whatever their age, strength, shape, goals or culture.

I couldn't have asked for a better trainer/fitness coach/life coach/role model/friend to help me with my fitness journey. I have been a client of Pascal’s for just over 12 months now and I have reached a fitness level I never imagined possible. His professionalism, experience and expertise have guided and encouraged me to reach far beyond my initial goals I set out for myself. Everything from building strength, endurance & mobility to giving advice about nutrition to motivating me to win the battle with my mind to power through the tough ones! Pascal's passion for health and fitness is truly inspiring. He has pushed me to achieve goals I never imagined would be possible. With a strong focus on form and technique (not to mention fun) I know that I am always in safe hands.
If you are just starting out or an experienced gym-junkie I cannot recommend Grip & Grit Fitness enough!

I have been attending group boxing with Grip and Grit Fitness for the last few months. The class challenges me both mentally and physically, but it is so much FUN! Pascal is welcoming and encouraging and accommodates for all of the different fitness levels for each member in the class. Not only has it helped me to strengthen and tone my muscles, but it's a great stress release!
