Services
Their many friends in Wonga Park formed the Burch Family Remembrance Fund Committee to collect donations for a memorial for this well loved family. At the same time, the Wonga Park and District Residents Association had established a local need for a preschool centre and it was decided to use the money raised to fund such a centre with Council and Government assistance.
Management of Burch Memorial Preschool rests with the Committee of Management. Each year the committee is elected from the parents of the preschool. The affairs of the preschool are attended to by both the Committee and staff in accordance with the rules and regulations as laid down under the Children's Services Regulations 1998.
We acknowledge and believe that children belong first to a family. We believe in working in collaboration with our families to create a happy, child safe, emotionally and socially enriching environment, that nurtures the development of the whole child. Through respectful, positive partnerships with families, we can shape children's learning and development, fostering their confidence and creating a love for learning.
At Burch Memorial Preschool, we aim to always provide a happy, safe, emotionally and socially enriching environment that nurtures the development of the whole child. Our curriculum is based on sound principles of child development and education and encompasses all of the interactions, routines, planned and spontaneous experiences and activities that occur on a day-to-day basis.

My daughter went here for 4y/o Kinder and she loved it. It has a great outdoor play area, and is set in a beautiful location. The staff genuinely seem to care about the welfare of the kids, what more could you want...
